Syrian forces storm strategic district in southern Aleppo
Syrian Army troops and the Lebanese Hezbollah Fighters continued their advances against the Jeish al-Fatah collation of terrorist groups in Hananou Housing Project and seized control of more areas and positions.
After wining control over terrorists’ operations room in Hananou Housing Project and capturing five bases of militants on Monday, the Syrian government forces, including soldiers and Hezbollah fighters, continued their advances and took back al-Sha’abi Bazaar and al-Atfa’eh square.
The army units also seized control over a highway parallel with this flank.
The army’s artillery units also shelled terrorists’ centers and positions in Hananou.
The army men also managed to advance against militants’ positions from the direction of al-Jandoul square towards al-Ba’eidin.
The government forces increased their control over the positions along the street connecting al-Jandoul to al-Ba’eidin.
In the meantime, a military source disclosed that the army troops are about to expand their operation in the neighborhoods of al-Ba’eidin and al-Oweijeh in Northeastern parts of Aleppo city in order to increase pressure on the terrorists trapped in the Eastern districts.
Opposition-linked internet websites said Nouralddeen al-Zinki and Fatah al-Sham Front (previously known as the al-Nusra Front) militant groups have dispatched a large number of fighters to Hananou Housing Project to slow down the army’s rapid advances in the district.
Reports said earlier today that Terrorists of the Free Syrian Army and Nouralddeen al-Zinki stormed Syrian government forces’ positions to take back the newly-liberated al-Zohour Heights in the Eastern part of Aleppo city, but failed and pulled forces back from the battlefield.
Tens of fighters from the Free Syrian Army and Nouralddeen al-Zinki attacked government forces’ positions in the district of Jabal Badrou to recapture al-Zohour heights, but their attack was repelled by army soldiers.
The terrorist groups suffered a large number of casualties in a pursuing army counterattack.
Al-Zohour Heights overlook Hananou and other quarters in the Eastern part of Aleppo city and its capture by the Syrian army has brought a number of strategic positions of the terrorists under the direct fire of the Syrian army.
Jabal Badrou is adjacent to Sheikh Najjar industrial zone and Aleppo airport and the battle in this warfront would play a decisive role in the fate of war in Eastern Aleppo.
Army soldiers and popular forces also scored limited victories against militants in the flank of Old Sheikh Najjar factories and Jababl Badrou.
Syrian Army pushes deeper in Eastern Ghouta
In a place like Syria, facts do not cease to exist just because they are largely ignored by some ignorant people lecturing thousands of miles away at UN headquarters in New York.
It is here that no one is entitled to be ignorant, even if that person happens to be US Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power. We shouldn’t take her seriously when she comes up with a silly list to single out 12 Syrian military leaders, including ten generals and two colonels, who she alleges are responsible for leading attacks on civilians during what she calls “the Syrian Civil War,” and will “one day face justice.”
True, there is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. However, when that cult decides to go anti-intellectualism and with arrogant impatience, the international civil society has to react. For there is nothing more frightful than ignorance in action.
1- What we see in Syria goes against everything Samantha Power lists at the UN. It’s a US-led invasion, not “civil war.” The Syrian people are united and determined to defend their country and their sovereignty; their rejection of efforts to divide the population along sectarian lines; and their determined emphasis that what is going on is not a civil war but a foreign imposed invasion.
2- With a helping hand from Russia and Iran, the Army and volunteer forces are all one in upholding the sovereign integrity of Syria under the able leadership of President Bashar Assad and as per UN Charter. The country has remained intact, and will never fall into the hands of the globalist criminal syndicate, which has been using its mainstream media networks, various intelligence agencies and armed proxy forces in subduing all remaining independent countries in the Middle East and North Africa.
3- As per numerous UN reports and those by Human Rights Council, Amnesty International and other rights groups and aid agencies, it is the proxy forces of the globalist criminal syndicate that have taken the civilian population hostage in places like Aleppo. Together with ISIL and Al-Qaeda, these goons are using people as human shields to slow down the liberation of the besieged city by allied forces.
4- Many civilians trapped in ISIL-controlled territory in Northern Syria are being killed by airstrikes from US coalition aircraft. According to Western media outlets and monitoring groups like Airwars tracking operations in Raqqa, the death toll continues to climb as US-backed forces push forward in an increasingly bloody offensive in the area. In all these independent reports the Syrian Army and volunteer forces are never implicated. Even the Pentagon confirms it has reports of civilian casualties by the US coalition air strikes. The question is how come Power never bothers to name in her report those who order and those who carry out these deadly strikes?
5- The US ambassador to UN should hold her head in shame for not naming and shaming those who created this whole mess in the first place – the coterie of hypocrites which arrogates to itself the monopoly on meting out death and destruction to those who won’t get with the program. The US has involved itself endlessly in the Syrian affairs. Major interests include a gas pipeline to Europe via Qatar, military bases, sale of weapons, propping up puppet regimes and terrorist groups, and limiting Iranian influence – all this lavishly in support of Israel and its nuclear arsenal.
6- By all accounts, people are dying in Syria for Israel. According to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, “The Obama administration has deliberately provoked the civil war in Syria as the best way to help Israel. It was the right thing to personally threaten Bashar Assad’s family with death. The best way to help Israel is to use force in Syria to overthrow the government.”
There is no alternate history here. Much of the current carnage and refugee problem is traceable to US actions in the war. By refusing to hold her government to account, Samantha Power struggles to shift the international community’s focus away from the fact that the US-led globalist criminal syndicate is the main reason why so many people are dying in Syria – notwithstanding the growing terrorism and mayhem that is spreading nicely to Europe.
Judging from the outcomes, the facts are telling: Containing Iran and destruction of Syria is the plan – which have had an uncompromising stance towards Israel. The self-appointed arbiters of righteousness have proven they are willing to do just about anything inhumane, criminal and thuggish to help Israel hang onto power. It takes an effort of will to believe it has not been planned this way.

Another Mass Grave Containing 200 Bodies Unearthed in Mosul
Iraqi forces discovered another mass grave in Southern vicinity of ISIL-held city of Mosul as the Iraqi military forces and their allies continue their clearing operation in the areas liberated since the start of the operation to retake the Northern Iraqi city.
The gruesome discovery was made just in matter of days after the Iraqi forces found a mass grave containing the remains of suspected victims of the ISIL executions in a village recently retaken from the terrorists near Mosul, Sky Press reported.
The newly-discovered grave, said to contain at least 200 bodies executed by ISIL, was found near Mosul after security forces spotted stray dogs digging into the ground in Hammam al-Alil and pulling out corpses.
Iraqi Forces Liberate Abbasiyeh Village Northeast of Mosul from ISIL
The Iraqi forces completely liberated the Abbasiyeh village located to the Northeast of the city of Mosul from ISIL terrorist group, media reported Monday.

Iraq’s PMF Surrounds ISIL-Held Tal Afar West of Mosul
Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) encircled ISIL-held Northwestern city of Tal Afar West of Mosul, the PMF command said Tuesday.
The volunteer forces aimed to encircle the city as well as to clear liberated villages of ISIL terrorists, the command said in a statement, RIA Novosti reported.
Tal Afar is the main ISIL stronghold between its self-proclaimed capital in Iraqi Mosul and Syrian territories under the control of the group in Syria, thus is deemed as a key part of ISIL’s supply route to Iraq’s second-largest city.
PMF forces have been advancing on the city over recent weeks, capturing dozens of villages.
