The Syrian Army’s victories in Eastern Aleppo finally forced militant groups to leave the war-torn city as Jeish Al-Fatah terrorists are now encircled in a very small area left with the only two options of surrender or die.

Russia’s Envoy to the United Nations said on Tuesday a deal has been reached for militants to leave the embattled Syrian city of Aleppo in the nearest future.

“My latest information is that they indeed have an arrangement achieved on the ground that the fighters are going to leave the city,” Russian UN Ambassador Vitaly Churkin told reporters, adding that it could happen “within hours maybe”.

The Russian Peace Coordination Center in Syria announced on Tuesday that the Syrian army troops and popular forces have squeezed Jeish al-Fatah terrorists in an area no larger than 3 sq/km, after taking control of more than 98 percent of entire Eastern Aleppo.

A field source disclosed that the defense lines of the terrorists have completely collapsed and they are now able to resist against the government forces’ strikes, saying the army men and Hezbollah will soon liberate the remaining neighborhoods.

The Syrian army units started special operations in Aleppo after several humanitarian pauses declared by Damascus and Moscow to give a chance to the civilian population as well as the militants to leave the Eastern parts of the city through 8 corridors.

District after district have fallen into the hands of the Syrian army soldiers and their allies in the city of Aleppo, as the pro-government troops have recaptured most of the blocks and districts in the Northern and Southern parts of Eastern Aleppo.

Also, tens of thousands of civilians, including hundreds of children and newborn babies, have also left the Eastern part of the besieged Syrian city of Aleppo in recent days, while thousands of militants laid down their arms and left Eastern Aleppo through the special corridor.

Over the recent months, Aleppo has been a battlefield between government forces and numerous terrorist groups.

The comprehensive military campaign to liberate the Northern Iraqi city of Mosul continued on Tuesday with the Iraqi volunteer forces seizing back two strategic villages West of Mosul city and imposing full control over the strategic Tal Afar-Tal Abta road.

The Iraqi volunteer forces (Hashd al-Shaabi) seized back two strategic villages West of Mosul city and imposed full control over the strategic Tal Afar-Tal Abta road.

“Hashd al-Shaabi seized back the villages of Ashvah (West of Tal Abta) and Husein Joma’a (West of Tal Afar) as the Iraqi volunteer forces were chasing the fleeing ISIL terrorists,” Hashd al-Shaabi media center reported on Tuesday.

The Iraqi volunteer forces also destroyed two bomb-laden vehicles of the ISIL terrorists near Ashvah village and before the terrorists could explode them to inflict losses on the Iraqi forces.

Iraqi Official: Tal Afar Liberation Drives ISIL out of Western Mosul

An Iraqi MP from the province of Nineveh said that the liberation of Tal Afar would end ISIL control over most of the Western part of the province.

“The Popular Mobilization Units and Iraqi Army troops had liberated the district of Tel Abtah last Thursday, and began the clearing operations in the areas West of Tel Abtah and Tal Afar districts,” said Ahmed al-Jarba, Badr News reported.

“The next few hours will witness the end of clearing all the areas surrounding the two districts,” he added.

Iraqi Commander: Six Districts Left to Recapture Eastern Mosul

Iraqi Army’s Counter Terrorism Service said Tuesday that there are only six districts left to announce full Iraqi security control over the Eastern section of Mosul, noting that 50 ISIL militants were killed in operations over the past few days.

CTS commander Abdul Wahab al-Saedi said in statements that his forces had so far recaptured 32 districts from ISIL since operations to retake the city launched in October, adding that troops were advancing in three other neighborhoods, Iraqi News reported.

“Our forces have managed to liberate significant and critical parts of the Eastern shore of Mosul, and there are only six districts left before announcing the Eastern section fully free from ISIL.”
