In what is likely the final parting shot in a bitter political divorce, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has openly accused President Barack Obama of #conspiracy.
The always candid and often cold relationship between the two has resulted in the worst U.S.-Israel dialogue in decades. Now #Netanyahu says that he had “unequivocal proof” that Obama orchestrated an anti-Israel resolution passed by the United Nations Security Council in December.
These harsh words between old allies were the capper to Obama’s simmering passive-aggressive relationship with Israel which has only deteriorated during the eight years of his presidency.

If there was ever a time that the hand writing is on the wall then I think now this time is starting to make more sense. Some think that Nathan the Jewish young man with the NDE will not come to pass because Obama leaves office in a few more days. The White House’s decision last week to abstain from voting on a United Nations Security Council resolution that demanded Israel stop settlement construction on occupied Palestinian territory infuriated Benjamin Netanyahu, further straining an already tense relationship between the Israeli prime minister and President Obama, according to ABC News.
The U.S. has a long history of protecting Israel at the U.N., even using its veto powers to protect Israeli interests. President-elect Donald Trump reportedly pressured Obama to block the vote, and not only did the U.S. refuse, but there is growing concern that Obama’s administration actually orchestrated the resolution.
“From information that we have, we have no doubt that the Obama administration initiated it, stood behind it, coordinated on the wording and demanded that it be passed” said Netanyahu.
Obama seems to be “leaving it all on the field” — doing everything possible in his final days to polish his legacy and settle old scores.
Netanyahu has made no secret of Israel’s hope for better relations under President-elect Donald Trump. Israel’s ambassador to the U.S. told CNN that Israel would present the Trump administration with evidence of its claims.
A strong Israel is critical to stablity in what is arguably the most unstable region of the world, and U.S.support of Israel is imperative in protecting not only our own interests but those of democracies everywhere.
