Thanks, Vladimir, For Clearing That Up

Susan Wright posted earlier on Vladimir Putin coming to Donald Trump’s defense. Part of that defense falls into the “Please don’t help me out” category. In particular Putin seemed to be offended by the claim that Trump had been accused of cavorting with Russian prostitutes.

He also cast his doubts that Trump with prostitutes in a Moscow hotel room several years ago, referring to an unverified dossier published last week that Trump has dismissed as “fake news”.

“Trump arrived and straight away rushed to meet with Moscow prostitutes. This is an adult man and, apart from that, is a man who for many years took part in organizing beauty contests. He has socialized with the most beautiful women in the world,” Putin said in response to a question from a reporter from pro-Kremlin news agency Life about whether he had seen files or videos suggesting Trump had met with prostitutes.

“I find it difficult to believe that he ran to a hotel to meet with our girls of reduced social responsibility,” Putin said at a news conference in Moscow with Moldova’s President Igor Dodon.

Good to hear. It is encouraging to hear that a rich guy who puts on beauty pageants and seems to view women like party favors would only be getting it for free. But if that had happened, we can rest assured that the were only THE BEST prostitutes.

“Although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world,” he also said, according to Bloomberg News.

Whew!

That’s good to hear.

Because we definitely would be concerned if they weren’t the best in the world. And we’d loose all respect for the man if we heard the were just average hookers.
