National Public Radio (NPR) ran a story on their Morning Edition program today highly critical of President Donald Trump’s “America First” economic nationalist agenda. The story highlighted the Boeing plant in South Carolina and warned that the company could be a prime target in a trade war with foreign countries. According to NPR, many of the company’s parts come from abroad and the majority of its Dreamliner planes are sold over-seas.

NPR, which is partially funded by US taxpayers, leans strongly to the Left and has been highly critical of Trump for quite some time. They have previously attacked his use of the slogan “America First” and highlighted opposition to his Muslim travel ban from chefs, bodegas and liberal churches. They routinely describe Trump policies in support of jobs, border defense or cutting regulations as popular with “Trump’s most fervent supporters” – an attempt to marginalize tens of millions of people in Middle America.
