Yemen: Saudi-backed forces make gains against Houthis east of Sanaa

Yemeni military and the Houthis are fighting with Saudi mercenaries on mount al-Katab in the area of Nahm. The Province of Sana’a.

Several Saudi-Backed Militias Shot Dead by Yemeni Snipers in Hajjah Province

The Yemeni army and popular forces’ snipers killed 6 Saudi-backed militants in Hajja province on Sunday.

At least six Riyadh-backed militias were shot dead by the Yemeni snipers in the Midi region in Hajjah province.

Meantime, the Yemeni forces continued their advances towards Alib region in Assir province in the Southern part of the kingdom.

Several Saudi-hired mercenaries were also killed in Ansarullah’s ambush operation in Sabreen region of Al-Jawf province.

In a relevant development earlier on Sunday, the Yemeni army and popular forces pounded the military positions of the Saudi-led troops in the Southern part of the kingdom in retaliation for Riyadh’s attacks on the civilian population across Yemen.

The Saudi-led troops’ military positions and equipment in Najran province came under the Yemeni forces’ missile attacks.

Meantime, Saudi Arabia’s Salateh military base in Najran province came under the Yemeni forces’ Katyusha rocket attacks, a military source said.

The source also reported massive fire in Salateh military base after Katyusha attacks by the Yemeni forces.

The Yemeni army’s artillery units also hit al-Hajleh military base and Alib command center in Najran province.

The attacks by the Yemeni army and popular forces on the Saudi military positions take place in retaliation for Saudi Arabia’s aggressions against Yemen. It is for over two years that the Saudi regime accompanied by several Arab countries have launched a massive military campaign against Yemen.

Over 13,100 Yemeni civilians have been killed and thousands more have been wounded in the Saudi airstrikes on the country’s residential areas.
