HuffPo Editor Dangerously Calls for the Loony Left to Stalk Republicans

Michelangelo Signorile is the editor-at-large of HuffPost’s “Queer Voices” vertical. As is all too typical these days, he’s merely an ultra-liberal activist masquerading as a “journalist.” Here’s the proof.

In an article entitled, “To Save America We Must Stop Being Polite And Immediately Start Raising Hell”, Signorile calls on his fellow loony leftists to “turn up the heat on elected officials.” And by elected officials, he means Republicans.

Now, there’s your normal “turn up the heat” that means being a good citizen and voicing your displeasure through tweets, emails, phone calls, petitions, peaceful protests, and votes. Then there’s Signorile’s version of “turn up the heat”, which means obsessively stalking Republican lawmakers at home, at work, at play.

They should be hounded by protestors everywhere, especially in public ― in restaurants, in shopping centers, in their districts, and yes, on the public property outside their homes and apartments, in Washington and back in their home states.

Paul Ryan is a specific target.

This is a dangerous and irresponsible call to action by Signorile. We’ve seen repeatedly since Donald Trump was elected the left’s propensity toward violence. They feel entitled to act out on every feeling of disappointment and anger, and they’ve shown they’re willing to escalate into violence. They certainly didn’t need the goading of a HuffPo shill.

Signorile has just added fuel to an already dangerously combustible fire. Just this week, Rep. Tom Garrett (R-Va.) revealed that he and his family had received “credible and real” death threats, including one chilling message that began,“This is how we’re going to kill your wife.”

Signorile, of course, claims he’s not calling on his fellow loony leftists to commit acts of violence, but it’s hard to take him seriously when he, at the same time, uses agitprop rhetoric like this: “playing nice right now is like signing a death warrant.”

If Signorile’s call to stalk Republicans turns into violence, the responsibility falls squarely on his shoulders.
