Air attacks, shelling kill civilians in Syria’s Raqqa

The Syrian Arab Army continues long March to lifting the siege of the Deir ez zor city, watch a day with a Syrian Arab Army’s Tiger Forces group… The Syrian Arab Army alongside local tribal fighters and the 124th Regiment of the Republican Guard, resumed their offensive in the Southeastern countryside of Al-Raqqah following a successful push to the Euphrates River last week… Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army attacked and captured the village of Rasm Suleiman along the Western bank of the Euphrates River, from the so-called Islamic State militants forcing the Terrorist-militants to retreat further South towards the Deir ez zor Governorate’s provincial border… After liberating Rasm Suleiman the Tiger Forces have since moved on to secure the village of Al-kharrar and the nearby hilltop of Tal-Kharrar which overlook the villages of Zawr Shammar and Ghanim Ali… Video footage related today’s advance has been filmed by an individual soldier within the Tiger Forces, showing his unit gearing up at a stop point in the Desert, and then recommencing its advance… In a matter of 12 hours the Syrian Arab Army has liberated two villages in the Southeastern countryside of Al-Raqqah, leaving them within 66k.m² of the Deir ez zor’s provincial capital…

Syrian War Report – July 27, 2017: Syrian Army Storming Strategic ISIS-held Town Of Sukhna

The Syrian Arab Army and Al-Saitat(Al-Shu’aytãt is Sunni Arab tribe located in Deir ez zor, it is numbered between 70.000-90.000, and is led by Sheikh Rafaa Al-Raju) with the Russian Helicopters Air support,after captured the last hills to the West of Sukhnah, and established total fire control over the Town, are now suggesting that the Syrian Army is currently in the process of entering the settlement… The Syrian Army and its allied paramilitary forces-in a rapid seven kilometer dash-moved right up to the outskirts of Al-Sukhnah and is, as of the present time, in the process of storming the Town from its West and South gates… The biggest threat to the Pro-Government forces right now is not so much the so-called Islamic State Resistance, but rather Improvised Explosive Devices (I.E.D’s) and mines, which have undoubtedly been sowed throughout the Town by the Terrorist group…

Syria in Last 24 Hours: Army Regains Control of More Areas in Homs

The Syrian army continued its advances in Homs, and captured more strategic regions in the province.

The army units drove the ISIL terrorists out of key areas and their surrounding areas in Homs province.

The Syrian troops inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists in fierce clashes over controlling of strategic regions. They also destroyed military equipment of the terrorists.

The Syrian army also continued its advances in other key provinces across Syria.

Homs

The Syrian Army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with the ISIL in Eastern Homs and drove them out of more regions.

The army men deployed East of Jubab Hamd continued to advance against ISIL and imposed full control over al-Baqile region and hill overlooking Rasm Hamadeh region.

ISIL suffered several casualties and its military hardware sustained major damage in the attack.

Meantime, a military source said that the Syrian Army troops fortified their positions in areas around al-Heil gas field in Badiyeh (desert) in Eastern Homs, restoring sustainable security to the strategic region.

The sources reported that the army men managed to advance against ISIL in Arak oilfield and the third Station in Eastern Homs and fortified their positons in areas surrounding al-Heil gas field.

The sources underlined importance of al-Heil gas field and said that the field is located 14km away from the town of al-Sukhnah that is ISIL’s last defense line standing on the way government forces before Deir Ezzur.

Hama

One of the notorious commanders of the ISIL terrorist group was killed in the Syrian Army troops’ attack on the terrorist groups’ defense lines in Eastern Hama.

The army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with the ISIL South of the town of Ithriya in Northeastern Hama and managed to impose control over several positions overlooking Hill 23 that was previously captured by the pro-government forces.

A number of terrorists, including Abu al-Qa’aqa’a, a field commander were killed in the army attack in Eastern Hama.

A number of ISIL terrorists were also injured in the operation.

Dara’a

Local sources reported that two military commanders of terrorist groups have been killed in two separated assaults in the Southern province of Dara’a.

The sources said that Commander of Syria’s Thowar Front Bashir Mat’at al-Rahil al-Namiri was killed in a booby-trap bomb blast as he was moving on the road connecting Zamrin to Um al-Awsaj in Northern Dara’a.

In the meantime, one of the commanders of Hourdan Mujahedeen Brigade affiliated to the Free Syrian Army (FSA) was killed in a bomb explosion in the town of Kafr Shams in Northern Dara’a.

Local sources said Earlier this month that two commanders of the FSA and two other militants came under attack by unknown assailants after intensified insecurity in regions under the control of the terrorists in Dara’a.

News websites affiliated to the terrorists reported that Mahmoud Fowaz al-Qabiti, the commander of Ahl al-Ketab battalion affiliated to the FSA’s Houran Shohada division, was killed by unknown raiders in Northern Dara’a.

In the meantime, unknown raiders shot dead Abdullah al-Qazawi, a field commander of Walid al-Qeisi brigade affiliated to Jeish al-Thowrah of the FSA, in front of his house in the town of al-Mazirib in Western Dara’a.

Also, Aswad al-Sunnah division of the FSA announced that Zarar al-Bashir, one of the group’s commanders, came under attack by a bomb-laden vehicle in the town of Kafr Shams in Northern Dara’a.

In another incident, a bomb blew up in the vehicle of Qasem al-Rashid, one of the commanders of FSA’s division 46 in Dara’a countryside.

Field sources said that militants affiliated to the FSA stormed the position of ISIL-affiliated Jeish Khalid Bin Walid in Dara’a province.

According to the reports, heavy infighting among terrorist groups is underway in Hawz al-Yarmouk, but none of the terrorist groups has been able to push rivals back from the battlefield.

Local reports said hundreds of militants have defected to the ISIL over the past year, increasing tensions among FSA factions.

Raqqa

The Syrian Army troops stormed ISIL’s defense lines South-East of Raqqa province and managed to impose control over more regions in their push towards Deir Ezzur.

The army men continued to hit ISIL’s positions in the Southeastern part of Raqqa province and took control of al-Jarih oil and gas wells after capturing the village of Salam Alaykom near the wells.

A military source reported that the army unis are advancing towards East from two main flanks after taking control over the Southwestern territories of Raqqa province.

The source added that, in the first flank, the army men are pushing towards the Southern bank of the Euphrates River and Raqqa-Deir Ezzur road.

In the second flank, the army soldiers are advancing towards Raqqa province’s border with Northwestern Deir Ezzur, the source said, adding that the pro-government forces are only 9km away from the provincial border.
