Jared Kushner Says Not to Get Your Hopes Up About That Embassy Move to Jerusalem

There has been a lot of talk about Trump finally moving the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, which would signal that the United States recognizes Jerusalem as the eternal and true capital of Israel.

It was a campaign promise, meant to excite the evangelical base.

In June, Trump rolled on that campaign promise (of course) and did what every other president has done since the agreement was first made to move the embassy: He signed a waiver to hold off on the promise for another 6 months.

This past week, however, the rumors began afresh. Trump was gonna do it! Moves were being made! It’s as good as done!

Even Vice President Mike Pence trotted out the promise, exciting the base.

Then along comes Trump son-in-law and senior White House adviser, Jared Kushner.

Let’s not forget, Kushner is the man Trump has hung the bulk of his responsibilities on, even declaring Kushner the man to bring peace to the Middle East.

So what is Kushner saying today?

According to the Washington Examiner:

Senior White House adviser Jared Kushner said Sunday President Trump has not decided whether to recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s official capital.

OOPS.

Speaking at the Saban Forum in Washington, D.C., Kushner said Trump is “still looking at a lot of different facts” related to the issue.

Do we know what that means?

It means people need to stop getting excited when they hear Trump is going to keep a campaign promise.

This, just like that magical border wall, is not going to happen with Trump.

He’s the same president who told Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to stop building settlements on their own land, in order to bring peace (like every other president), and is also working into the budget extra funds for the terrorists of Palestine.

Between Pence and Kushner, I have to believe Kushner is more in the know. Trump has given him more responsibility and hung the whole of the Middle East around his neck.

A recent report, as brought to you earlier, suggests Kushner is attempting to build a coalition around strengthening Palestine and providing for a Palestinian state. With that in mind, is he going to risk the deal he’s working on with Saudi Arabia now?

Not likely.

Suckered again, folks.
