New ‘Time’ Cover Continues its War Against Trump

I remember seeing television commercials for Time magazine when I was a kid. I thought, “Wow, Time magazine! How cool! They know about everything. Everything that takes place…in time. If I want to know what happens, then I want to read Time magazine.”

So imagine my disappointment.

I relate it to my upbringing regarding adults. I was taught that adults are smart, kids are dumb; adults are right, kids are wrong. Imagine my crushing disappointment to grow up, enter the job world, and find that some of my older coworkers were dolts.

And now, Time magazine is one of those dolts.

The publication which I once revered has become a partisan propaganda-wielding joke.

It pains me to see this. Yet, they keep hitting me, again and again, with a reminder.

Coming off their shameful cover portraying Trump looking down at a crying child with no empathy, pushing the narrative that Donald Trump caused family separation at the border (which he did not — please see here) and the falsehood that the child pictured was in fact separated from her mother at any point, the new issue is equally pitiful.

The Left want so badly for Trump to be in the hip pocket of Putin. In their great fantasy, Donald Trump works for Moscow. He is Darth Vader to Putin’s Emperor. Each night, from a secret room in the White House, he kneels before Darth Sideous as he pledges once again to do his master’s bidding.

And why do they imagine that? Evidence?

Nope.

Trump has been harder on Putin than was Obama, in terms of policy. But that’s one thing about the Left — don’t confuse them with the facts.

Hence, Time’s new cover: a morphing of the faces of Trump and Putin. Into one perfectly evil, world-betraying tyrant (Trump’s a brutal dictator, too, in case you didn’t know. “Sexist” and “racist” are childsplay; Trump is the greatest Bond villain of all time).

Time explained its reason for the cover:

“[The image] is meant to represent this particular moment in US foreign policy, following the pair’s recent meeting in Helsinki, Finland.”

What “foreign policy” are they referring to? Trump’s love affair with Putin over Syria?–

“Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!”

Or is, post-Helsinki, working on peace rather than war the Left’s new definition of “treason?” What happened to the Left that protested the Vietnam War and the war in Afghanistan? Aren’t they supposed to be peaceniks?

I guess that Left has gone the way of the dodo bird. And a new dodo — Time magazine — is publishing this:

Sigh.
