4.0quake hit San Francisco, there are no reports of injuries in the effected bay area. The San Francisco earthquake hit just north of the Piedmont area near Berkeley on Monday morning. The earth-shaking was felt along the East Bay and downtown area, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
