Twelve Oaks Recovery Center Announces Grand Opening of Three Substance Abuse Assessment and Resource Centers to Provide Free Services to Local Florida Communities

NAVARRE, FL–(Marketwire – Oct 22, 2012) – Twelve Oaks Recovery Center, a premier provider of addiction treatment services located in Navarre, Fla., has announced the opening of three new, free Assessment and Resource Centers (“ARCs”) that will act as links between healthcare service providers and local citizens. 

The three Twelve Oaks ARCs will assist in providing coordination of care through a network of core providers. Individuals referred to the centers will receive a free assessment for substance abuse and will be provided with appropriate support, information and referrals for treatment. They will also have the opportunity to speak with a licensed clinician while they contemplate treatment options and prepare for the next steps on their journey to recovery.

The three ARCs will be in partnership with local counseling providers. One of the ARCs — a location at Lake Wales Christian Counseling (One Scenic Central, Suite 105, Lake Wales) serving Polk, Highlands and Hardee counties — has already opened, and the remaining two will hold Grand Opening Celebrations as follows:

• Thursday, October 25 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Breakthroughs Counseling (3810-3 Williamsburg Park Boulevard, Jacksonville) serving Duval, St. Johns and Clay counties.
• Friday, November 9 from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Envision Counseling Services (9030 58th Drive East, Ste 103, Bradenton) serving Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota, DeSoto and Pinellas counties.

The Twelve Oaks ARC staff will be targeting their outreach to local emergency rooms, legal/drug courts, universities, employee assistance programs and local providers. When these organizations have appropriate candidates for ARC, referring is as easy as calling a toll-free number to arrange an assessment.

Assessments will be conducted on an appointment-only basis at the Twelve Oaks ARC office or through prearranged mobile services in designated areas.
