A towering figure of the nursing community of Michigan, Jeffrey A. Jeffrey is an experienced registered nurse with a thriving career that spans more than 24 years across the continuum of healthcare. In 2014, he became a Triage Nurse within the Consumer Relations Call Center Department of Wayne State University Physician Group located in Troy, Michigan. His professional journey includes many roles in the nursing sector, such as RN Analyst in charge with disease management and case management within the Chronic Conditions Program of the Blue Cross Blue Shield in Detroit, Michigan. Jeffrey also worked as a Professional RN Provider of Direct Client Care with Nationwide Nurse Management LLC, Medical Instructor with the Career Center Connection College within Dorsey Schools in Waterford and Pontiac, Clinical Instructor for the LPN Program at Detroit Health Care Career Center for Oakland University, and Agency Registered Nurse with Criticore Healthcare Inc.

Jeffrey discovered his passion for nursing at a later stage in his career. As a result, he took the necessary steps to complete a formal education in the field. He first obtained an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Certification in 1987 from Oakland Community College. Three years later, in 1990, he became a registered nurse and ultimately acquired his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Wayne State University. However, prior to his academic endeavors in the nursing arena, he attended the business and accounting courses of Lawrence Technological University with the purpose of obtaining a bachelor’s degree. Jeffrey is also an active volunteer, a certified Chronic Conditions Provider (CCP), and distinguished member of the Michigan Nurses Association.
