Dr. Gonzalez Jr. received his medical degree in 1993 from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He trained in pediatrics during his residency at New York University Medical Center and then served as Chief Resident at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Gonzalez Jr. is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In an effort to keep up-to-date and active in his field, he maintains his professional membership with the American Medical Association. In 2009, he was honored with the Champion for Babies Award from the March of Dimes.
