Max Payne Retribution announces MAX PAYNE 2 cast member Kathy Tong

The creators of a highly ambitious MAX PAYNE fan film announced they have attached one of the original cast members from “MAX PAYNE 2: The Fall Of MAX PAYNE” video game – Kathy Tong. Kathy played the Kick ass assassin “MONA SAX” in the games graphic novel and is set to join the cast of this exciting fan film.

Considered one of the best video games of the early 2000’s, Max Payne was a huge commercial success winning numerous awards and captivating gamers from across the globe. Almost fifteen years after the original games release, fans are in for a real treat with this instalment of LIVE ACTION that pays homage to the game that started it all.

Along with their eagerly anticipated news from the film makers, they have also announced the launch of a crowdfunding campaign on INDIEOGOGO to enable them to bring their vision to life, set to launch on the 17th October 2015.

The creators of the fan film Leroy Kincaide (Writer/Director) and Chloe Chudasama (Producer) are in the pre-production stage, currently attaching cast and crew to the project. With support being shown from FAN’S around the world, original cast members and the Rockstar endorsed fan site Payne Reactor. Both Leroy and Chloe are set to start the ball rolling with a panel discussion at MCM Comic Con in London on the 23rd October 2015.

“Our goal is to create something amazing that the Max Payne fans deserve and will love.” said Leroy Kincaide. “We are so pleased to have had support from the No.1 fan site PAYNE REACTOR, Kathy Tong aka Mona Sax and original composers of the game. We want to make this the film that Hollywood blockbuster wasn’t”.
