China Internet Users Top 10 Preferred Applications

Instant Messaging is the most popular Internet application in China. In 2014, nearly 588 Million users have used this application which has further grown by 6.2 percent and reached 624 Million in 2015.  With 566 Million Internet users in 2015, Search Engine is the second most popular application in China.  However, Internet News, Online Video, Online Music and E-Payment hold at 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Places respectively. In 2015, 564 Million Internet Users have gone though Internet News, 503 Million users for Online Video, 501 Million Users for Online Music, and 416 Million Users for E-payment. Chinese Internet users also spent their time on some other application such as Online Shopping, Online Games and Online Banking.  

In 2014, Online Shopping Users was 361 Million which has further grow by 14.3 percent and pegged to 413 Million in 2015; Similarly China Online Games users has increased to 391 Million in 2015, 7 percent  up from 2014. China Online Banking user has grown by 19.2 percent from the 2014 and touched to 336 Million figures in 2015, whereas Intent Literature users were 296 Million on the same year.
