So according to the verses in the Koran, Islamic fundamentalists (not peaceful Muslims) believe in: fighting, and killing infidels [or all who do not believe in Islam]. They are taught to hate Jews, Christians, and anyone who opposes Allah. They are also taught that Jews and Christians are cursed and should not be taken as friends, but rather they should be murdered and smite at the necks.

Sadly the very Islamic religion is one born of violence and hate.You see Islamic fundamentalist, are taught to seek conversion at any cost. Whether that’s with persuasion, sword, peace, force, it doesn’t matter as long as they are converted.  Christianity, on the other hand, seeks conversion by persuasion, it’s their choice if they want to accept it. It is never forced on them.

Now that we have covered that, lets chew on this for a moment. Did you know that there is not a single 1 out of all 55 predominately Muslim Nations, that DO NOT persecute Christians. Christians are persecuted in all 55 predominately Muslim nations! You see, if Islam is so peaceful, then why is this the case? The reality of this is, is that one day, Jews and Christians will be persecuted for their faith (Tribulation) and this just plays right into that.

Now I do want you to know something. The Arab and the Palestinian people, are not our enemies. And nor should we ever treat them as such. Paul made it very clear in his letter to the Ephesians that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood.

“We wrestle against power, principalities and spirits of wickedness in the heavenly places….” Ephesians 6:12

So we must constantly keep a proper Biblical perspective and love our Arab and Palestinian brothers and sisters. For God loves them just as much as he loves you. And there have been many of them who have received the Lord Jesus as their Savior. My hope is that we can win more of them over for the Lord!

I say all this to remind you that it will only be a matter of time before persecution rolls around our way. Especially considering our President has a Muslim background, and from the quotes above, I’d say he’s Islamic. God says in the Bible that Christians are promised persecution and that because the world hated him, it will also hate us. But do not fear. For God did also tell us that in these last days to look up for our redemption draws near!!
