Revelation 9:13-19 Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.16 Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. 17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. 18 By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. 19 For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm.
Before looking at the connection to Trumpet 5 here, let’s consider the details of Trumpet 6. What are we looking at?
The scene is WW3 at the Great River Euphrates, IRAQ. The angels will be released that are somehow holding back the floodgates. There will be a great army of 200 million men, and 1/3 of those will die, or 66.6 million. The horses John saw in his vision had the heads of lions. Trumpet 5 showed locusts which became helicopters… these horses, with riders, are Tanks. They shoot fire, smoke and sulfur from their mouths, and they also sting from the rear. (Congress insists on tanks!)
As Americans (even though I’ve lived in Mexico for the last 20 years) we have a unique vantage point as to what happened in Kuwait, and all that came later. It was, after all, our President, George Bush Sr who led the allies into Kuwait in 1991 to force Saddam to pull out. Then there seemed to be a break in the action. There were no more trumpets, yet Trumpet 6 shows us right back at the banks of the Euphrates River, right in the heart of IRAQ. Is this a continuation of Trumpet 5?
The Mighty Angel with the Little Book – Revelation 10:1-7

Oh you know, things like the antichrist appearing on the scene and trampling down the whole world, the 4 angels loosed at the Euphrates river killing a third of mankind, the 2 witnesses doing their thing and when they die, people from every tribe, nation, and tongue on earth will see them lying in the street, refusing them burial, etc.
Do you really need me to point out the exact chapter and verse for the above?

After the 2 witnesses do their thing and everyone on earth sees them and they are resurrected and ascend into heaven, that all occurs after the 6th trumpet is blown. Revelation 11:9 says everyone on earth will see them lying in the street. This is basic stuff.

For me, this verse is a clear indication that the blowing of the 6th Trumpet is not as obvious to everyone as you make it out to be.
You meant Revelation 9:20, which speaks of people who have witnessed the killing of a third of mankind by the 4 angels bound at the Euphrates. This hasn’t happened yet.

Trumpets blow BEFORE a war, before an event, as a warning (ref Jericho). Yet most people cannot hear them.
No, the people not repenting has nothing to do with hearing or not hearing the trumpet. People do no repent because they love the darkness rather than the light (see John 3:19).

Jeremiah 30: 7 Alas for that day is great so that none is like it it is even the time of Jacob’s Trouble.” Compare that with Matthew 24:21.
Are there TWO DAYS so great there is none like it????? Not a chance!
In Matthew 24: 22 Christ says the time must be cut short or everyone dies, thus the time is cut to 3 1/2 year, or 42 months or 1260 days or a time times and a half time from the 7 years,
Also in prophecy a day is as a year and a year is a day. Thus The DAY of the Lord.
the 5th Seal last 2 1/2 years, the 6th Seal is most likely a few days as the earth would be totally destroyed leaving the 7th Seal one year matching the day or a year explanation.

Scripture does not say the 5th Seal lasts 2 1/2 years, you do.
Re time, times and half : what does the word ‘time’ mean? The phrase is part of a Hebrew idom where ‘time’ (iddan or moadah in Hebrew) usually stands for a thousand. This is confirmed later in the new testament in 2 Peter 3:8 where the Greek word ‘Hermera’, meaning time (translated into English as ‘day’) is defined as a thousand years.
Therefore, ‘a time, times and a half’ would mean 2500 years to us.
People have wrong interpretations.

The Beast has power from the start of the 5th Seal, the Great Tribulation.
Read chapters 9, 10, and 11 in the Book of Revelation, which describes things that happen during the 5th, 6th, and 7th trumpets and you’ll see that these 3 trumpets haven’t happened yet. When Abaddon comes (see Revelation 9:11), everyone will know it. When the 4 angels bound at the Euphrates river are loosed and kill a third of mankind (see Revelation 9:15), everyone will know it. When the 2 witnesses are lying dead in the street (see Revelation 11:9), everyone will see it.

I am an equal opportunity masher of those that twist the scriptures. The rapture is a lie and those that say we are into the 5th, 6th ect. seal have no clue.
The next Seal is the Third, which is food rationing. The world is poised to crash financially, there has been nothing like what is coming ever. Wait until America wakes up to 40% of their income just for food. And that is a best case situation, it gets worse.
Those saying Christ could come any day have no knowledge of scripture either, soon all of this will be forgotten, survival will be the only concern.
One point of confusion, when God says He will judge, in many cases the word punish should be used. What is coming is punishment for the whole House of Israel (the time of Jacob’s trouble ) and punishment of all gentiles (the Wrath of God).

Personally I dont believe the first seal is broken let alone the 6th trumpet. The first seal there will be one on a white horse with bow who goes out to conquer. Fact is, chapter 4 of Revelation has not begun yet: we are still in the Church Age, not entered yet into any phase of the tribulation period. And none of the wars to date are of the tribulation period, of course, this misinterpretation of some very clear scripture.
Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
The “Come up hither” is a reference to the rapture, after the Church Age of Revelation chapters 1-3, then the “things which must be hereafter,” the tribulation.
In Revelation chapter 5, Jesus Christ opens the seals that begin the tribulation, in the presence of the raptured saints, verses 9-10 “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”
Beware of much very incorrect interpretation of scripture. Let the Bible interpret itself, and don’t ever try and stuff prophecy, scripture, into some mold that seems to fit a scheme that’s, actually, all in your mind:

The fact that the Antichrist has not been throned by the Jews confirms that certain things must happen before we can conclude the 6th trumpet or seal.

We’re not even in the Tribulation yet.
The chapters in the book of Revelation describing the time of Tribulation coming on the world are found mostly in 8,9 and 10. If you are saying that the 5th trumpet was the Gulf war in 1991 I have a quick question for you. Since the trumpets describe in detail death and destruction on a global scale, did we see a third of the world’s trees burn up anytime before 1991 (the first trumpet, Rev. 8:7; or did we see all green grass burn up; or did we see a great star from heaven fall, burning as it were a lamp, on a third part of rivers and third part of fountains of waters, (streams) and did that star strike the earth causing it to spin faster making the days and nights 1/3 shorter? The second trumpet (Rev. 8:8) Those are only two examples that are ROCK SOLID evidence that we have not entered the period of Tribulation that is described in the book of Revelation. We are not IN the trib, we are getting very close to ENTERING the trib and, believe me, you don’t want to be here for that.
