The Wedding Feast of the Lamb is Near!

The Word of God declares that a Feast is yet to take place in the Kingdom of God and those who participate in it are blessed (Mt. 22:1-2, Lk. 14:15). This is the Wedding Feast of His Son that God prepares on this earth itself at the End of Ages – the Wedding Feast of the Lamb. The Creator and Almighty God Himself will come to see the guests in this Banquet (Mt. 22:11, Sir. 16:18, Mal. 3:2, 2 Pet. 3:10-12). 

In the First Coming of the Son of God to this earth this Wedding Feast did not take place because, his Bride was not prepared and ready. Those who are given to him from this world by God have only ‘Now’ been promised in marriage to the Lamb (2 Cor. 11:2). It is in the Wedding Feast of the Lamb, in the Banquet in the Kingdom of God that death will be annihilated for ever (Is. 25:6-9). This must take place on this earth itself. From this it is clear that the Feast mentioned here is not the Eucharist established by Jesus Christ 2000 years ago. He himself has declared that the Eucharist that he established in the Last Supper then would be fulfilled in this Wedding Feast yet to take place in the Kingdom of God (Lk. 22:14-18).

But, Jesus Christ prophesied that those invited for this Feast would become unworthy for it (Mt. 22:8). Who are the ones invited for the Wedding Feast of the Lamb? Those who are invited for it are the ones who believe in the Lamb. This means, the invitees are those who have received baptism in the Name of the Lamb and live in the End Times – in this generation when the Wedding Feast is to take place, when the Lamb is again on this earth (Mt. 24:34-35). The acknowledgment that they have given to God after receiving this invitation is the baptism they have received. Those who have received baptism cannot say that they did not receive the invitation to the Banquet.

Jesus Christ prophesied that none of those who are invited would enjoy the Feast (Lk. 14:24). This means, not all the invitees will participate in this Feast, simply because they had been invited or because they claim that they believe in Jesus. Behold, God is sending His servants to call the invitees as it is time for the Feast (Mt. 22:3). Those who receive the call of God at the appropriate time and act according to this call and are chosen by God will participate in this Feast (Jn. 15:16). 

The Son of God prophesied that though the ones who get the call would be many, the actual chosen ones would be few (Mt. 22:14). The Son of God has warned that the invitees who, instead of immediately responding to the Call of God, are busy serving the kingdom of the world by being in the field and market places and who mistreat and kill the servants who come to call them, will be destroyed (Mt. 22:4-7). This is because the One who calls is the King and this King is God the Almighty, the Call that He gives now is the Imperial Decree that cannot be refused.

Jesus Christ has warned us that many would come from east and west and would eat with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven, while the heirs of the Kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness, where there would be weeping and gnashing of teeth (Mt. 8:11-12). All these events will take place in the End Times.

Behold, the Wedding Feast of the Lamb is near! Behold, the Call to the Wedding Feast – the Good News – is being preached as a testimony to all peoples (Mt. 24:14). Let us pay attention to this Call of God and act accordingly.
