Pole Shifts in the Bible
We all know that magnetic north has been moving at over forty miles per year towards Russia. I believe the next rotational North Pole will be in Siberia, near the borders of Russia, China, and Mongolia. There is a large magnetic anomaly there. The famous Tunguska blast event of 1908 occurred there. And one of the main founders of the pole shift theory, Professor Charles Hapgood (author of books like Path of the Pole, Earth’s Shifting Crust, and Maps of the Ancient Sea Kings) also felt this was the likely location of our next North Pole. Have pole shifts happened before? Are we due for another one soon?
A Pole Shift – a reorientation of the entire crust of the Earth in regard to the axis of rotation – happens when the whole surface of the planet suddenly moves as a single piece over the molten interior. The crust slides over the mantle and core as a single piece, like chocolate could rotate around a cherry inside it. The idea that every continent could rapidly move to a new location as civilization is ruined by earthquakes and tidal waves may seem extreme. But even Albert Einstein endorsed this theory: “Significant shifts of the crust of the earth have taken place repeatedly and within a short time…. A movement of the earth’s crust over the rest of the earth’s body.” More importantly, THE BIBLE repeatedly describes pole shifts and their effects – both in the past, and in our future.
Some of the clearest “pole shift” quotes are from non-canonical books which were not included in modern Bibles:
Noah 65:1 seems especially relevant: “Noah saw the Earth had tilted and that its destruction was near.” Sounds like a pole shift to me.
2 Esdras 2:4-5 tells us “The sun will suddenly start shining at night, and the moon in the daytime… nations will be in confusion; the movement of the stars will be changed.”
You may not recognize the quotes above that are not in your Bible, but the ones below ARE in modern Bibles:
Isaiah 24:1 “Behold, the Lord lays the earth waste, devastates it, distorts its surface and scatters its inhabitants.”
Job 9:5-6 “It is God who removes the mountains, they know not how, when He overturns them in His anger; who shakes the earth out of its place, and its pillars (poles) tremble.”
Psalms 46:2 “though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea.”
Hebrews 12:26-27 “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven. This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken.” The Bible even comments on its own mention of “yet once more” to emphasize that this has happened before, and will happen again! The Book of Genesis describes past pole shifts; Revelation describes the next one.
If there are pole shifts every so many thousands of years – and civilization is pretty much destroyed – then OF COURSE the Bible, and any other religious or mythological explanation of creation – WOULD START WITH A POLE SHIFT!!!!!

Genesis 1:1 tells us “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Isaiah 45:18 tells us “For thus says the Lord, who created the heavens (He is the God who formed the earth and made it, He established it and did not create it a waste place, but formed it to be inhabited.)” This very clearly says that God “did not create it a waste place.” Some other translations include “not empty He prepared it” and “he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited” and “the God that formed the earth and made it, that established it and created it not a waste.”
Yet Genesis 1:2 tells us “The earth was formless and void.”
What happened between Gen 1:1 and Gen 1:2, that made God’s creation formless and void? Could a pole shift have made a new earth just like we are told to expect again in Revelation? Could being kicked out of Eden, and Noah’s Flood also have been descriptions of pole shifts?
The top expert on the most ancient versions of Genesis in Aramaic and Hebrew, Arthur Custance, says the earliest Aramaic version says “the earth was laid waste.” He wrote: “After studying the problem for some thirty years and after reading everything I could lay my hands on pro and con and after accumulating in my own library some 300 commentaries on Genesis, the earliest being dated 1670, I am persuaded that there is, on the basis of the evidence, far more reason to translate Genesis 1:2 as “IN A FORMER STATE GOD PERFECTED THE HEAVENS AND EARTH; BUT THE EARTH HAD BECOME A DEVASTATED RUIN… than there is for any of the conventional translations.”
Jeremiah 4:23-26 “I looked on the earth, and behold, it was formless and void; and to the heavens, and they had no light. I looked on the mountains, and behold, they were quaking, and all the hills moved to and fro. I looked, and behold, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens had fled. I looked, and behold, the fruitful land was a wilderness, and all its cities were pulled down before the Lord, before His fierce anger.” So AFTER men have built cities (and a pole shift reduces them to rubble) and AFTER there are mountains to quake and birds to flee… the earth is “formless and void” as described in the beginning of Genesis. Pole shifts are God’s method of RE-creating the earth. This is why science tells us the planet is billions of years old, and why the Bible tells us the current surface conditions are just thousands of years old. When the Book of Revelation describes the destruction of the world, and the creation of a new heaven and a new earth, it is describing the next pole shift – which my research concludes is due to come in December 2019.

The sun rising in the west means the Earth is “upside down” relative to its orbital plane.
I would also add that the Chinese Kun-Kun creation myth involves the Earth tilting, relative to the stars.
I didn’t think of the “new sky and new Earth” line in Revelation as pertaining to this planet, but it makes sense.
Isaiah 24: 19-20 sounds like a shift in the Earth’s axis to me. “The earth is broken asunder, The earth is split through, The earth is shaken violently. The earth reels to and fro like a drunkard And it totters like a shack, For its transgression is heavy upon it, And it will fall, never to rise again.”
And I’ll tell you why it’s possible. The Earth is a 4 dimensional object with a 3 dimensional axis of rotation. Picture a hurricane, swirling around ____ what? Not a vertical line, but around a cylinder.
As James Maxwell believed, there are at least 4 dimensions of space. And I feel sorry for the educated idiots who can’t see this.
Earth has already shifted it’s orbit by a small (cosmologically speaking) margin. Yet enough to cause the Sun to rise and set in the direction of Canada in summer. As we approach the summer solstice on June 21st of this year, take note of how far north the sun rises and sets already. I have been tracking these things since I first noticed in 2006. The change began after the Indonesian Tsunami of 2004. Furthest north the sun used to appear, assumedly for thousands of years, was the tropic of Cancer which runs through central mexico. Now, in summer it rises and sets many hundreds of miles north of the old norm such that one can even see the afterglow of the sun after sundown and track it as it crosses the north pole and re appears…rising in the direction of Canada. Luke 21:25-28 is in fulfillment at this time.

I’m no expert, but the magnetic poles are interesting. they have to be created by Yahuah. i did a bit of reading on pole shifts of the past. I’m thinking they really don’t know for sure what happened thousands or millions of years ago. the experts say pole shifts take thousands of years. it’s slow going. the same is happening today. slow going. no problem. i do believe Yah will come to make a whole new heaven and earth someday. He does things His way in His timeline. best to get right with Him now and put your trust totally in Him. then you can sit back, endure the evil today, and not worry about a thing. feel better? love is the key. peace.
Magnetic pole shifts have nothing to do with changes in the tilt of the Earth.
The experts don’t know how long magnetic pole shifts take, either.

‘Heading towards Siberia”, does not mean it will go to Siberia. der. It moves in circles not straight lines.
Pix, why do you comment, about things you don’t know about?
We know that the magnetic poles of the Sun reverse in a regular cycle. We know from the magnetism of rocks that the Earth’s magnetic polarity appears to reverse from time to time.
Of course, a shift in the axis would confuse matters. But…. sometimes the magnetic north pole is in the southern hemisphere.
Whatever makes you think it moves in circles? Good grief.

Because I do know about it. The suns magnetic polarity reverses every cycle. Earth’s polarity has changed in the past but it takes thousands of years. The magnetic north pole moves about all the time, sometimes faster, most times slower. But it always travels in a circles, not straight lines as claimed by the author of this article.

You said the magnetic pole “moves in circles.” To support that, you pasted something about the Chandler wobble.
That is a wobble of the Earth’s axis of rotation. It has nothing to do with the magnetic north pole, which is moving toward Siberia.
If you ever learn the difference between the axis of rotation and the magnetic poles, you might be interested to know this:
No one knows how long a magnetic pole reversal takes, on Earth. And estimates of how long it takes are based on the current theory of what causes the Earth to have a magnetic field. And THAT is not a RIGOROUS theory. It’s just what people say.
The idea that the Earth’s spin somehow — somehow- generates a magnetic field is questionable, to say the least. It is scientists pretending to know the answers, without being able to say exactly, let alone prove, what their theory is.
It takes detective work to puzzle out when pole reversals happened. All we have are rocks of different ages, with different magnetic alignment. When did this rock become solid. Where was this, on the surface of the Earth at the time, as the sea floor spreads and the continents drift. And shifts in the axis of rotation would complicate the work greatly.
I agree with the writer that the poles of the earth have changed, can change and will change in the future, probably not in a far future. However first, it has to be noticed that there are two kinds of “poles” (not physical), namely the geographic poles and the magnetic poles that differ from each others. The geographic poles mark the rotation axis of the earth and the magnetic poles mark the points where the magnetic field lines of the crust of the Earth converge on in the north and in the south. These two kinds of poles differ from each other some 1,200 km or 750 miles.
The magnetic field and poles
The geo-scientists say that the earth magnetism resides mainly in the iron-nickel core of the earth but I disagree. The core and all the molten layers of the earth are so hot, red hot or white hot, that they cannot hold any consistent magnetic field. It is a known physical fact that the red hot iron cannot be magnetic, leave alone the white hot iron, and the nickel does not make a big difference. Therefore, the magnetic field of the earth has to reside in the cooler, crystallized crust of the earth. How then, has the earth magnetism come into its existence and how it is maintained? I explain.
The earth is a planet sized electric generator. Normally in a generator, a coil with an iron core rotates inside a magnetic field created by a cylindrical coil assembly with its own iron core, but the construction of the earth-generator is more simple. The earth rotates inside a huge electric cloud called van Allen’s zone. The rotation keeps up the magnetic field of the earth because it means that seeing from the surface of the earth, an unimaginable electric current circulates the earth, magnetizing the earths crust.
Until now, the van Allen’s zone that is of electric plasma, consists mainly of positive nuclei and in relation to the earth, it creates an unimaginably strong electric current. An electromagnetic induction takes place and the earth magnetism is maintained but in a different way than in a normal electric generator. On the earth, the electricity is gotten and the magnetic field is created along with the rotation. In the generator, the magnetic field is gotten and the electricity is created by rotating the generator.
Anyway, the physics is the same but how the earth magnetism started and how long ago? The creation of the magnetic field happened in the distant past of the earth in the same way as it is maintained now. It is the sun that sends enormous amounts of electric particles that create the van Allen’s zone around the earth. The positive current of the zone circulates the earth from east to west (only the relative movement matters and the earth rotates from west to east) causing a magnetic field in the earth crust following the right hand rule. If you point the four fingers of your right hand towards the west (where the positive current goes), your thumb points to the south where the real magnetic north resides. Yes, there is a flip-flop here. What is called the “magnetic north” is in fact the magnetic south and vice versa but it does not matter in the normal practice.
As long as the sun delivers same amounts of mainly positive particles as it still does, the present earth magnetism is maintained. However, the magnetic field of the earth has been weakening from about the half of the 19th century and from the 1950′s on, the weakening has been accelerating. Therefore, the “magnetic north pole” is moving towards the geographic north pole at an accelerating pace, eventually converging about on the latter in the future. That is my opinion. The magnetic pole does not move to Siberia if the earth does not encounter some kind of a celestial push so that the earths crust turns also. What is causing the weakening of the magnetic field? I think that it is the changing ratio of the positive particles to the negative ones or electrons in the sun-wind and van Allen’s zone.
When in the future in the van Allen’s zone, there will be equal amounts of the positive and negative charges due to the changing sun, the electric potential of the zone will be zero and the maintenance of the magnetic field of the earth will stop. Little by little, the areal and local magnetic fields get an upper hand and the global magnetic field disappears. The migrating birds may be lost. Then eventually, when the total charge of the negative particles or electrons become greater than the total positive charge, the magnetic field changes to the contrary and the magnetic poles swap their places because that way, the electric current in the van Allen’s zone changes to the contrary direction. However, the geographical poles are not changed by this phenomenon.
The geographical poles
When the earth rotates, it has an enormous angular moment and a celestial force is necessary to change its rotation radically. However, smaller changes are possible and they are taking place. There is the wobbling of the axes of the earth or precession that lasts about 23,000 – 29,000 years or so (depending on where you find the data) and small “shocks” or the nutation. Additionally, the crust can move and does move in relation to the core because there is a liquid mantle between them.
The earth is a planet sized gyroscope that wobbles. So, its axes is more or less inclined compared with the orbiting plane or ecliptic of the earth, depending on where we are in the precession cycle. I think that the precession is not constant nor the nutation either. Additionally, the moon contributes its own part to the rotation of the earth. You can see the height and distance of the moon changing, depending on the time point in the calendar. I have a feeling as many others, that there is a gravitational force unknown before that is influencing our planet, the moon, sun and all planets but those that do high level measurements, do not tell all. We others are subservient and disposable for them.
If two objects rotate in the space close to each other in the same direction, they try to turn their axes’ parallel, causing wobbling to each other. If one object is very big compared with the other one, the big one seems to rotate as before but the small one turns and wobbles. If the axes’ of the objects are parallel but the smaller one rotates in the contrary direction and nears the big one, it eventually turns it axes around and goes on rotating in the contrary direction. You can try.
Take hold of the axes of a globe map on both poles and ask someone else to give it a swift rotation. Then turn the globe 180 degrees around and you will see that it will go on rotating but in the contrary direction. That way could it happen to the earth if a huge planet would come too close to us, a planet rotating in the contrary direction. Is there such a celestial body coming that could turn the earth around or at least cause the oceans to roll over the continents? Many kinds of news are around and the scientists cannot be trusted. At their best, they are sliced brain thinkers that may know much inside their narrow occupation but not much elsewhere. A real total picture could reveal the truth but I have not found one.
I wrote a book “Ice-Shedding of Ages”
It was in the spring of 2005 when a terrible insight hit into my mind. The snow was melting at the southern rim of the Arctic, where I am living, and I happened to ponder the Indian Ocean tsunami in December 2004 and then the coming annual Arctic phenomenon called ice-shedding, happening in the Arctic rivers. Somehow, my thoughts wandered around the Arctic and stopped in Greenland. Then suddenly, a horrifying thought rose into my consciousness: What if an ice-shedding would take place on the vast glacier of Greenland. I knew this and that already about Greenland and its huge glacier. Could it discharge? Was it possible? If it were, the discharge or the ice-shedding of the glacier would mean a global disaster in the form of earthquakes and sky-high tsunamis, inexperienced before.
I began to study the subject and the more I studied the more convinced I was. The glacier of Greenland has a potential energy that is about 900.000 times the energy of the Indian Ocean tsunami, the energy the scientists later calculated had been discharged into the Ocean. (I calculated it also but noticed that they had missed more than a half of the energy, namely the impact energy of the rising seafloor). The picture that I compiled in my calculations and mind, was so overwhelmingly threatening that I wanted to warn all other people about the coming disaster. I tried to get attention by writing an essay but without any result. Then I decided to write a book and published it at a self publishing company. The lack of attention was the same. I updated the book in 2009 and published it at another self publishing company. The frustration only grew.
The scientists seem to think that they know all things and they are the guardians of the gates of the knowledge. They have the necessary resources and they are financed by the high authorities and super rich people that trust in the scientists. All of them support each other. It is an inbred system feeding itself, a power-money-science-cycle. All others outside that system are condemned to the oblivion. However I am sure that they are condemned themselves. So much I have studied my subject matter that I know. During these years, my opinion has not changed.
The consequences of the ice-shedding of ages can be seen around the Arctic if they are wanted to be seen. In the geography, forms of the surface, direction of the waterways, forms of the shorelines, everywhere can be noticed that an enormous tsunami has rolled over the landscapes, along with mountain sized ice masses. In a short writing like this one I cannot explain all that I have written in my book. I have done many calculations and conclusions and tried to ground them at my best. The responsibility is not on my old shoulders anymore.
The Noah’s Flood began obviously with the discharging of the glacier of Greenland or maybe the Antarctic. It does not matter much because if one discharges the other one starts to discharge after half an hour that it takes when the earth shattering quakes reach from Greenland to Antarctica or vice versa. The earth will get a double whammy. Countless other earthquakes will be triggered also, areal and local ones with mighty tsunamis. All coastlands and lowlands will be covered by rushing water and loose soil masses with big boulders mixed with them. The main part of the humankind will be washed off with their properties and assets. Only people that escape in a good time to high heartlands and mountains may survive if they know how.
Please, don’t resort to the Bible saying what God promised concerning the Flood, that it will not be repeated. I know the Bible. God only promised that He will not drown all breathing life, including the mankind. So, if He leaves only a remnant alive, He has fulfilled His promise. Additionally, it was a covenant that God made between Himself and Noah who represented also his family and their offspring, the entire future humankind. That covenant the humankind has broken already. God is not bound to Noah’s covenant anymore either. His all decisions are open. In fact as I see it after pondering much on the matter, a global flood is the only way to save the earth for the future generations of the coming Millennium.
I don’t know exactly what factor will start the discharge of the continental glaciers. There are different possibilities. The Arctic is warming constantly and the ice-shedding of ages may begin spontaneously like the annual ice-shedding in the Arctic rivers, when its time is up. Or there is a strong earthquake in Greenland or nearby. Or a large ice-field suddenly collapses at the rim of the glacier and the avalanche begins to spread. Or a celestial body comes too close to the earth and pulverizes the continental glaciers. Or some madmen have set nuclear charges deep inside the glacier of Greenland, on the north-east side, to wipe the feet from under the Russians, and detonate them, causing the entire glacier to discharge right away (remember El Hierro that, as some say, has been charged by Russians).
There was one decisive factor in the Noah’s Flood that has to be emphasized. It is “the wells of the great deep”. If the crust of the earth is shattered so strongly that great chasms, hundreds of kilometers deep open in the earths crust, water rushes into them and is pressed so tight that it is heavier than the adjacent rock, not coming back. That can happen under 200 km (120 mi) deep. I calculated that result also. It has happened in the distant past of the earth, and seas of water has been found deep inside in the earths crust and mantle. At the time of the Noah’s Flood, the wells of the great deep opened as it is stated in Genesis, the hot, highly pressurized water gushed up, enlarged manifold and eventually, covered even the highest mountains. I believe that God will save the world from the wells of the Great Deep, and a remnant of the mankind will be left. After all, the Millennium is yet to come.
If one day, you may hear and feel a strong earthquake that does not abate but continues from minute to minute, becoming more and more vehement, you have only an hour to several hours to escape as far away from the seashore and as high as possible, depending on where you live. The tsunami will come at a speed of about 800 km/h (500 mi/h) and you can calculate the time you have by dividing the distance from Greenland to where your safe haven will be with the speed of the tsunami. An estimated secure marginal is needed also.

You’re right about the interior of the Earth being above the Curie points, for the metals involved.
But, the other part is all wrong. Molten metal CAN be magnetically polarized, by an external force. A magnetic field. An electrical current.
The radiation belts – plural- around the Earth are produced by the magnetic field that we are talking about. Charged particles from the Sun are “trapped” by that field. Whirled around, anyway.
The positively charged particles have more mass, but the solar wind is thought to be electrically neutral overall.
There are belts of electrons, not just protons and alpha particles.
No magnetic field would mean no radiation belts. The belts don’t generate the field.
And spinning hot metal doesn’t make it magnetic.
And, believe it or not, there is good reason to believe that electrical currents flow through the plasma all around us. One reason is that the Sun’s corona is so much hotter than the surface. You can either disregard the 2nd law of thermodynamics, or… you can see that the Sun is an anode and the corona is heated by electrical resistance.
Electrical current produces the magnetic field of the Earth.
The “core” of the Earth does not conduct pressure waves. (Yes, I know someone has claimed to have found “the signal” of such waves in noise. It’s nonsense.) The gravitational field of the Earth does not converge toward the center, as evidenced by the Tamarack mine experiment. There is no core. The Earth is hollow.
The Earth is not a 3-dimensional gyroscope.
The apparent precession of the axis is caused by our solar system’s orbit around the barycenter of our binary star system. The Sun has a companion star. There is no slow, steady movement of the axis.
Ignatius Donnelly and Immanuel Velikovsky put together geological evidence, and ancient history, myths, and legends. They did well, for their time.
And Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) predicted an axis shift, by unknown means.
And Pope John Paul II predicted the tsunamis you’re talking about.
As quoted by the October 1981 issue of the German magazine Stimme des Glaubens:
“… it should be sufficient for all Christians to know this: if there is a message in which it is written that the oceans will flood whole areas of the earth, and that from one moment to the next millions of people will perish, truly the publication of such a message is no longer something to be so much desired.”
