The War of Ideals, Religion, and blood on Prophecy Headline News at Noon.  Years ago while in bible collage I started a nonprofit Evangelistic association. It came on the heels of our working the streets testifying to our faith and then beginning a coffee house ministry aimed at the youth. The locals were upset with us as the area was traditional Lutherans and others. They could not understand why we came to their town. But, the youth who came, gave their heart to the Lord and followed him in all earnest of faith. On Saturday nights the local bars and organizations would swell with the ranks of the religious, among them the deacons. On Sunday morning these same drunks and drinkers would swell the pews of the local churches.

They had faith alright, but it was one in opposition to ours. We were on the streets, believed in the saving of the soul. We believed that the experience of Christianity was the greatest event, but even more so is the Lord of the Christian. It was not shallow faith, but deep rooted faith that met all opposition. It was on fire, challenging, and persistent. It was that dynamic, faith of young people like us that moved in the call of God. In that calling, the Lord was faithful and young people got saved.

We were told by one of the young people “it is a good thing you guys came around with the truth, because we could have followed the wrong faith!” This was true! We were of the truth and we were on fire. That was many, many years ago. I took that same Lord and same faith and became a youth Pastor for an Assembly of God church that was growing. It was a new church; the Pastor was an outgoing man that had a way about him. His faith and outgoing style brought people in. He would count the Sunday attendance religiously. We needed numbers. So soon I was tasked to run the bus ministry along with the Youth program. But I had a problem, in all the ranks of the believers no one would help.

Moreover, they had a great award winning softball team. I was charged with joining it as well. Both my wife and I took part and loved it. However one day I was to preach a Sunday service in the evening. I took the pulpit and began and to this day I don’t remember the topic or what I said. But I do remember speaking directly to the people and saying “when we get to heaven we won’t have any awards for Bus ministry but we did have a great softball team”..now these are the words as I remember them and I said more; but you get the idea. Well the sermon and the words hit the brick wall of the deacons and the Pastor who eventually with his deacons let me go. But not before two of the board members caught me on the stairwell the following Sunday morning service to tell me in a very angry and direct way “we don’t want your kind here. Take your briefcase and your faith and go back to Bible College. You are too excited for the Lord.”  Well, soon after I was out of a job and the rest is history.

I relay these stories to tell you that the church has been in a lukewarm state for many years. Today that lukewarmness has brought the church to a brink of war with Islam. We will either see the church stand up to the direct assault by Islam and the society that surrounds it or we will see the church become even more polluted by it. We have known for years that Islam among prisoners in our own system in America has worked to convert prisoners to the Muslim faith.  The prison cell is a good place of reflection and we find that the US army Ranger Peter Kassig who is now said by ISIS going to be the next one beheaded that he converted to Islam between October and December of last year when he shared a cell with a Syrian Muslim.

“I am obviously pretty scared to die but the hardest part is not knowing, wondering, hoping, and wondering if I should even hope at all,” Kassig said in the letter, according to his parents. “I am very sad that all this has happened and for what all of you back home are going through. If I do die, I figure that at least you and I can seek refuge and comfort in knowing that I went out as a result of trying to alleviate suffering and helping those in need.”..Peter Kassig

The problem with dying Peter is that you are not ready! You don’t need Muhammad, you need Christ Jesus. If you die without Christ you will die in your sins and will be guilty at the second death! This is the battle. When churches fail the truth of the gospel and to relay that truth to a generation they are not doing that generation any favor by keeping silent.

Over and over again we see that our young people moving over into other faith, specifically Islam. All the while Muslims in other nations convert to Christianity, knowing the truth between the two. However in the west, the churches failure to reach their own young people has spelled demise for former huge denominations and their large edifices they used to worship in. We see this in Europe today where the former large historic churches are now Islamic mosques.

Then there is the Brookings Institute researcher Jennifer Williams; who had studied the Koran to learn about terrorist belief’s, religious extremism, and as a result converted to Islam. In the Koran she understood the morality and belief questions she had her whole life. She converted to Islam three years ago. Recently she used the hashtag #MuslimApologies #sorrynotsorry to tweet of her conversion. As a result the tweet was retweeted more than 12,000 times within a short time frame. She had only 40 followers but ended up with more than 5,000.  Among them, many terrorists, Islamic hardliners, and Muslim men wanting to marry her. But they wanted her in a hijab, covering up her blonde locks and good looks. To this, she was not happy about. In spite of her tweeting to make sure we’re clear, making sure she was not tweeting to express her support of ISIS, nothing could change the mind of those who saw in the blonde’s first tweet the prize of all prizes, i.e. a Young American woman who converted to Islam. In this, we find the truth of 2 Thessalonians Chapter two; which speaking of those who reject the “Love of the truth, will believe a lie!”

Furthermore, in Belgium one of the largest terrorism trials in their history is going on in the nation’s attempt to put down and bring to trial those who openly recruited young people to fight jihad. Their leader Fouad Belkacem, said this:

“If you want to land in hell like all unbelievers that is your problem. But let us live the way we want. We do not have an ounce of respect for you, infidels, nor for the way you live. Our religion and way of life are superior to yours.”— Fouad Belkacem.

The truth is Fouad, we are not unbelievers; that is I am not anyway! I do believe you serve Islam and Muhammad. I know that your god Allah exists,however he is not the one True God and he also is not the Son of God. There is only one begotten Son of God, that is Jesus Christ; Yeshua Ha Massiach. The truth is, you will serve and kill for your god. When you die, you will stand before the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and his only begotten Son Jesus Christ; Yeshua Ha Massiach. You will be found guilty because you serve another god who does not save!

This is the war! A war the lukewarm church or lukewarm believers will never win. It is a war that the secularists will never understand. It is a war that will bring in the Son of Perdition, the Beast of Revelation 13. It is a war that brings the choice down home for each person!

Rev 21:5-8 KJV

5  And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6  And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7  He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

8  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

 In whom do you believe: In Jesus Christ, Yeshua Ha Massiach the only begotten Son of Almighty God. The Son who died for your sins, was dead and buried, resurrected from the dead, seen alive by many infallible proofs, left instructions for the church, ascended to the right hand of the Father and is coming again. Or do you believe in some other god, other way, or maybe nothing at all?  There is only one name, Jesus Christ and all who have believed in Allah will bow; not to Allah, but to Jesus Christ and every knee while bowed to him will confess that he is Lord!

This is battle! You can win the war by killing and being bloody; but you can never enter heaven without Jesus Christ as your savior and his Father; the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as the only True God!

This is the Truth and Christians for millennial have died for this truth and in these end of days the testimony of Christ and the gospel will go on until the whole world will hear it as a testimony. You will have no excuse oh Muslim, oh Hindu, or  anyone else who refuses the truth.
