1. every prophecy must not contradict scripture

2. there can be no money making involved

3. there can be nothing false involved 

4. there can be no lies

5. there can be no deception

6. only good can come of it. It must not harm any soul.

7. it does not insinuate anything new wrt doctrine or reinterpret christian teaching in a new light

8. it must not give rise to false hope

9. it cannot encourage despair

10. rather it lifts the soul

11. corrects error

12. challenges error, disbelief and deception

13. it does not promote a cult

14. it elevates our spiritual connection with God

15. it elucidates faith, engenders hope and inspires a spirit of self-discipline and charity

16. it educates the heart in the will of God

17. it directs the heart and thoughts to God

18. It is opposed to the spirit of the world

19. it causes a division from and separation from the worldly spirit

20. it reconnects our spirit and soul if this connection has been broken between us and God.

2. it relies on sensationalism to attract and lead astray those with itching ears

3. it promotes a false religious doctrine not in keeping with the faith but a clever imitation of it for the undiscerning

4. it is touted by those out to make a buck

5. it preaches material prosperity

6. it preaches man as his own god

7. it preaches an earthly kingdom

8. it preaches there is no hell or implies as much

9. it refrains from the mention of self discipline

10. it never mentions the cross as the way to heaven

11. it inculcates selfish needs and wants and goals

12. it is never confirmed by the other witnesses as coming from God

13. It contradicts scripture, morals, faith and dogma

14. It never mentions Jesus as saviour

15. it never mentions repentance as the way to eternal life

16. it promotes worldly ambition and human passions

17. it never mentions asceticism and the exercise of spiritual discipline

18. it is promoted by worldly sources

19. it is opposed by all that is of god, all that is holy

20. it promotes the worship of angels or spiritual guides
