Where does it say that? The part about Lucifer becoming Satan, specifically.

There is lots of fluff in Enoch, but no substance. You learn nothing of value. By Chapter 40, ‘Enoch’ is supposedly telling his children all wisdom. But look what that ‘wisdom’ was: mere stuff (supposedly) about the construction of the heavens and the earth, how they got there, and he saw the Lord face to face. Well, sheesh — that’s all better stated, in Genesis and Job. Not at all secret, but EXPECTED knowledge.
God is INSTRUCTING you, and you are expected to know, Romans 1! This knowledge wasn’t secret before Genesis was written, either: because Genesis is written axiomatically; so Moses is just putting in writing, stuff people already knew. And why? Oh, because the Exodus just occurred, and now it’s important the Nation Set Straight What Really Happened From The Beginning, stripped of all the gossip-barnacles which accumulated over the centuries! And why is that? Because due to the Exodus, people started recognizing the Real God; and their Enquiring Minds, wanted to really know! First-hand information, not the child’s game of telephone (pssst pssst change story pssst pssst reverse details pssst pssst cat-becomes-dog).
No offense, but if the Book of Enoch is supposed to be about the secrets of the universe, well.. they’re pretty childishly told. Adam was no dummy. Adam’s firstborn, Cain, ran out and built a city for his firsborn son who also was named Enoch. So these humans were not childish in their understanding, from the get-go. No hunter-gatherers, here. So why is Enoch so childish? Genesis, Job, many other passages in Scripture are far more precise about rotation, gravitational pull, the galaxies, how empty space is what unifies (the “unifying theory” everyone pants after and misses, is based on vacuum, not mass). scads of real information. But Enoch reads like a kindergartener’s explanation. The real Enoch was not so stupid, k? He was superior to all his own generation (which by the way, included the smartest of the lot — Adam — most of the time), which is why God took him home EARLY. So, come on: these are ‘secrets’? LOL.
So, Genesis is far superior to the Book of Enoch. More importantly, Moses is explaining God’s thinking the whole time — but Enoch doesn’t have a clue. Enoch’s list in Chapter 40 is about earthly things, whoopee. The stress in Enoch is the miracle manner of getting that knowledge; but Moses with deft wit.. stresses the Thinking of the Creator. To Moses, the earthly stuff is but a metaphor, however tangible, to use for Seeing Him Who Is Invisible (see also Heb11). Whereas Enoch talks about PAIN at meeting the creator (chap39), Moses had to be veiled because he was so happy. Does no one see God and Moses being mocked, in 2Enoch? Oh well. It’s not as though there weren’t blatant contradictions, throughout. Satan&Co. did their level best to advertise their authorship, here. So if we still buy this book as from God, well.. our blood is upon our own heads. You can even compare translations and see this. Its proof isn’t sequestered in the lonely cell of the academic.

Now, you say childish. But have you set about reconstructing the calendar, as it is described in the Astronomical Book of 1 Enoch? It is true that a preliminary surface read can yield a sense of the outrageously impossible and sometimes silly mental imagery. But we press on, and if we dig deeper, and indeed begin to reconstruct what Enoch teaches about the clockwork of the cosmos, what we find tends toward the shocking.
A key to understanding the Astronomical Book of Enoch is the calendrical material discovered with the Qumran Library – namely, the key ingredient of beginning the annual count on the fourth day of the week. This is the day the heavenly luminaries were placed into their order during Creation Week in Genesis chapter 1. This serves as a sort of password, without which we would never be able to overlay Enoch’s Calendar atop the Book of Exodus, and find that the fit is flawless. Enoch’s Calendar is not a lunar calendar. Neither is the Calendar of Canon Scripture. Those systems for marking time are one-and-the-same.
Bear in mind that most of us are reading a re-translation of 1 Enoch from Ge’ez into English. But 1 Enoch was found in Qumran, written in Hebrew. And though there are minor differences between the Ethiopic texts and the various Hebrew scrolls and fragments, the sense remains most similar. There is plenty in the Ge’ez to work with if we look past what at first might seem childish.

1 Enoch either confirms what is written in Canon Scripture, or it is worthy to be discarded. I find that nothing in 1 Enoch contrasts with the written Word. Furthermore, I find that 1 Enoch was not included in the 66 Books of Cannon Scripture because 1 Enoch was addressed solely to us – the people of the latter days.
There were far more books than the 66 today that were part of the KJV up until publisher/protestants decided to remove them, like the people are more holier or is just corruption?
So, you must be a Catholic, in order to come up and blame publishers and Protestants for something that happened BEFORE printing presses existed, and was decided by Church fathers (BEFORE the Roman Catholic Church existed) in 325 AD, at the Council of Nicea. The Roman Catholic Church wasn’t formed until after the Council… from Pentecost 33 AD until after 325 AD, it was known as the UNIVERSAL Catholic Church, and no, Peter was NOT the pope, since he died well before the Roman Catholic Church existed, and the UNIVERSAL Catholic Church was comprised of HOUSE churches, where believers met in homes, not buildings that were once pagan temples, converted into churches.

The translation work of the KJV is horrendously incorrect, but the agenda was held true by it’s translators back into English. It still is almost an accurate copy of Constantine’s bible he had created from pagan and Christian writings and traditions in 325. It’s still not the inspired word of God and it’s still used to draw people away from God. No one who uses it solely, can learn God’s intentions, commands, and will. It’s impossible. It’s impossible also to discern the truth using it. When Satan set about to “mislead the entire inhabited Earth”, the KJV and similar works are his BEST tools in doing so.

No it isn’t, it originates from Ethiopia. Enoch the great grandfather of Noah didn’t write it either, it dates from 300 BCE for it’s oldest The Book of the Watchers, to the youngest the Book of Parables that dates to the 1st century CE. It’s no where near ancient enough.
Judaism didn’t exist until after 70 CE, the invention of the political party of wealthy influential money lenders and traders called the Pharisees.

For those called into the enlightenment of one mind with Christ error is corrected, replaced and refined through the editing of God’s miraculous Spirit. For example, passages read a million times suddenly take on a whole new and rewarding message.
Those who seek beyond what the Spirit gives very often find themselves groping for answers where they cannot be found. If you want my opinion all this is meant as a distraction. Satan and his minions know their time is short. They are hell bent on misleading as many of those seeking God as possible before their coming millennial confinement.

JMO….The bible the inspired Word of God?…absolutely! From the old languages and carefully transliterated. Do it for yourself. Then get others around you who, also, can do it….talk about it, desire understanding.
Obviously you are not the expert on scriptural matters you would have everyone in this forum believe. I’ve read what you’ve written and from what I see you’re lost! I suspect that’s why you have multiple accounts. So when nobody else agrees with your absurdities you can just pat your own self on the back and then team up with your other alter egos to vote down and verbally attack your adversaries, or better put those who actually know and understand scripture.
It is no great accomplishment that you may have examined the various translations of Greek and Hebrew scripture or the meaning of particular words and phrases. These days, you deserve no reverence for such accomplishment anyone with Google can do the same almost instantaneously with no former training or education. I guess that helps when you need to scripture mine in order to make a valid point!
Frankly if you need to dissect scripture and search for the Lord’s meaning with such labor then I assure you you’re working without the guidance and direction of God’s Holy Spirit. Without God’s Spirit, understanding is never going to be possible for you no matter what scriptural source, version, interpretation or translation you reference. You will continue to just be stubbornly inaccurate and rude when challenged by alternative views!
You appear to believe the magic is in the print or mans interpretation of it and it’s really not. Perhaps if you weren’t so prideful, if you could possibly humble yourself you might actually learn something yourself. You have slotted yourself the teachers position without qualification. I hope you’re prepared to be held to a difference standard in God’s eyes. Spewing inaccuracy is not something God holds lightly, it’s murder! It is no different than plunging a dagger in someone’s chest.
So anyway Walter, I mean maxxy you go right ahead embrace and advocate all your religious poppycock. Soon enough you’ll discover when you get to the checkout stand you will not have enough change in your pocket to purchase what you desire!
