It’s not a Jewish site at all. Judaism didn’t exist until after 70 CE, the invention of the political party called the Pharisees, they have never had a temple in Jerusalem, unless you class money lending tables as temples that is. Why would the Israelites build a temple in a neighboring countries city? Jerusalem was in Judea, not in Israel.
The site houses the oldest Islamic temple in the world and was the site of King Herod’s castle, the king of the Judeans. The Jews are not Judeans any more than they are Israelites who came from Egypt. They have no connection to the middle east what so ever seeing as they are all European immigrants from WW2.
