The American Protestant movement has been wrong on every Prophetic prediction made for decades. The so called Bible only crowd has spoken outside of the bible since Luther. The list of failed predictions by Pat Roberson, Harold Camping,Lester Sumrall, John Hagee Hal Lindsey and a host of others are enormous . This poor fellow Salazar is even more deluded . if this fellow owns a Bible he should look up Mt. 24:36 ‘ no one but the Father alone knows the day or the hour. ” So I guess he believes himself to be god.

In English translations, Matthew 24:36 seems to indicate that no one “knows” the hour or the day – but in the original Greek, or in other languages, or in Young’s Literal Translation, the verb is past tense, and means that no one “knew then” or “knows yet (as of 33 A.D.)”
Everyone predicting a date for end times events which has passed uneventfully was obviously wrong. But Matthew 24:36 should not be cited in an argument against the possibility of calculating dates correctly.

Passover began God’s Plan of Salvation and on the Feast of Pentecost God began HIS CHURCH.
Most that have kept God’s Feasts understand the Feast of Trumpets is the return of Jesus Christ as King of kings.. The Shofar is blown to gather God’s Host to war and when Christ returns He will fight and win the Battle of that Great Day of God Almighty. And the DAY IS THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS.

The translators of the King James Bible new exactly what was being said. The dialog was being spoken in the present but the Greek , no one (oudeis) knows (oiden) was for them and all the generation since then. The Scripture is telling us not to be caught up in idle speculation, but like the Apostles to continue God’s work of spreading the Gospel. It is little wonder that American Protestantism has floundered with it’s overwhelming emphasis on “end time ” predictions . How many have fallen away because of the multitude of false prediction and false prophets. In 2 These. 2 Paul is telling us ” not to be shaken out of your minds ” but this is exactly what has happened caused by these deceivers . Paul tells us that ” the apostasy comes first and the lawless one is revealed’. Has this happened ? So why so much “end time” speculation. It is clearly a device to divert the attention of the Church from spreading the Gospel to being paralyze in fear and retreat. The time of the second coming is unknown the Bible is clear on that. Scripture tells us Mt 24 -44 be prepared, Jesus coming at an unexpected hour. Mt 25 -13 Stay awake, you know neither the day or the hour. I Thess. 5:2-3 day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. Etc. Etc Etc.
Unfortunately eschatology has been the down fall of many a good Christian and if history is to go by it will be in the future…

The bible does not forbid date setting. In fact it commands us to watch. Matthew 24:36 does not mean what you think it means.
Jesus was making a comment about the wedding of a man and a woman when the Father of the groom is the only one who knows and sets the date for the wedding and then reveals it to the groom.
From my calculations that date is the first of two convergences of the seven year Shemitah cycle with the seven Jewish-Babylonian leap years within a 19 year cycle. Check it out. Some time before 702 BC, the years length became approximately 365.242108 days per year due to an action by God to alter the suns position in the sky. Obviously earth’s orbit around the Sun was changed by HIM. The old Babylonian calendar was changed to take the altered year length into account. Thereby, the seven leap years were created in a 19 year cycle. There are always certain years that are set and certain years that are not set to be leap years in the 19 year cycle. The other convergence of these two cycles is in 2043. Very good conformation in my opinion

NO amount of science, study, or our precious human instinct and “gut Feeling” can aid in the foretelling of any future events that spring origination from God. And that includes anything, everything and the nothing that has and never will be. I think this simple fact could save everyone from the polluted crap that we as humans seem to yearn for. We want answers. But how many people really think we are smart enough creatures to handle all that knowledge?
