Therese Neumann(1898-1962) was a stigmatized catholic nun from Germany who had profound supernormal abilities and entered into an ecstatic meditative state on Good Fridays when she started bleeding as if she was crucified. She is also said to have survived without eating anything(except wine and altar bread during mass) for 40 years and many researchers investigated her state without finding any scientific explanation of her supernormal state. In this article we use the translated version of Renzo Baschera´s research of her prophecies. The most significant part of Therese’s predictions  affect our current time. At the end of World War II, when people cheered for the end of dictatorships (an end that Teresa had prophesied when the ”Pact of Steel” was entered on the eve of the conflict between Italy and Germany ) she said,., ‘this is justified joy, because the nightmare is over .. but the great plague will open in 1999 and it will bleed for eighteen years: this will be the time of Cain(the murderer)”.

”On the highest throne – Teresa confided to a friend – I saw seated the snake of snakes. And I saw that the donkey lay down the law to the lion.. In that time, too many lions will have the heart of the donkey and take be deceived. ..I saw that the world was entrusted to horrendous beasts, with the ass as its head and the body of the snake.”

”I saw the horrific slaughter of the pious men and men of understanding ….. And when the epidemic will have contaminated every farmhouse, the purification will be necessary …… The water will wash every speck of sand.”

”The donkey and the snake”, according to Christian symbolism, have satanic connotations. You could then talk about the great monster, cleverly disguised to fool even the most experienced people.

And the conclusion of the message reflects other predictions: ”there will come a time when the man and the Earth will be so dirty and corrupt the point that there will be no other solution outside that of a general cleaning, of a flood. But this time there will be a deluge of fire ”.

Here Neumann describes what many other prophets have foretold; the next cleansing of this earth will be made by fire and not water. This is also in line with many other prophecies and it is said that the blood from the Lord will drop onto the earth from his wounds and puts it aflame.

Teresa in a prophetic dream told us the symbolism of this purification: ”I saw coming down from heaven – said the Seer – a huge amount of dry leaves. And on each leaf there was a spark of fire.”

Dried leaves represent the dryness of life where the spirit is dying, The ”spark of fire” represents the purification. A purification that will be made by fire.  In the end, Teresa sees in ecstasy ”the cemetery in which man ‘s dreams are buried.” She also sees an epitaph where it appears a significant inscription: ”Here lies a man who believed in God.” When purification is complete he will resume life.

But the new man will wear a new dress: the dress of humility and faith.

At last we see in her prophecy that the main thing for human beings is to have humility and faith in the Lord of the Universe and realize that they are not even specks of dust in the great Universe. The Universe will always be more powerful and intelligent than human beings. Yet it seems like human beings always forget their frailty and due to their pride destroy this earth in order to obtain a little bit of ”comfort” and fulfilling their ”carnal desires” during their short human life. It seems like every civilization is terminated in the same way with some kind of cataclysmic event cleansing all evil people and the earth before restarting a new civilization.
