Good News Response to Hawking’s Evacuate Planet

Stephen Hawking says, Evacuate planet or face extinction in 100 years. No need to worry; we won’t be here then. The biggest event in 2000 years could be as soon as Friday, May 12. It’s the focus of Christ’s last seven parables. “As the days of Noah,” the Flood came with Passover timing but in the 2^nd spring month. His conjunction between the last two parables were to watch (clue for Passover) but, You don’t understand because it’s like a man traveling to a far country. Matt 25:13,14.

If Israelites took a long trip after winter and couldn’t get back for Passover, they were to keep it the 2^ndspring month as Numbers 9:10,11 shows. Jewish ceremonies aren’t needed, but we should eat the Lamb spiritually by considering what He bore for us that night as we ‘watch and pray’ where His disciples failed. 2^nd Passover is Thursday evening.

Churches worldwide should be open for this as it memorializes the greatest events of Old and New Testaments. We see the world is in a crisis and the 1^st message of judgment in Revelation 14:7 is about krisis—the Greek word translated as judgment.

A Baptist preacher proclaimed the end of the world in 1844. It was a “Great Disappointment” (Google) and Christ told John in Rev 10:11 to “prophesy again.” We can’t be certain, but believe that “watch and pray” is always appropriate.

“The Bridegroom comes” message in 1844 was misunderstand as a rapture. We forget that God “executed judgment” on Egypt and took Israel to a covenant as Bridegroom, later saying, “I am married to you,” Jer 3:14. We should look forward to this invisible coming because the US has killed more babies in the womb than Egypt ever did, and enslaved more people with alcohol, tobacco, sex, gambling, greed, crime, violence, perversions of all that is good—judgment is overdue, but we can be spared as we seek a New Covenant experience that also dates to that last night of Christ.

Returning to our starting theme of ‘watch and pray,’ tonight, May 11 is a good time. Watching means to be awake as Christ asked His disciples, but they slept and ran—a bad detour. If there is a huge earthquake, it represents His ‘knock’ to which we should open to Him with a Feast of Unleavened Bread as suggested by the ‘feast’ imagery of Matt 22 and Lk 12:37. But it’s not about crackers—it’s teachings that have not been leavened by the Pharisees of our time, Matt 16:12.
