(When Does This Happen and What Are The Chain Of Events)

This topic confuses a lot of people. It even agitates and angers some. There seems to be a taboo that has been built around the timing of the end time tribulation. Probably in part due to the numerous predictions that have been made and failed. This has caused some to miss quote scripture and conclude that “No man can know anything” and that it must be a mystery that could just happen at any time. I have even heard some say that the Bible says “No Date Setters”. Well, let me be the first to tell you that it does NOT say “No Date Setters” anywhere in the Bible. But here is what it does say in Mathew and Mark:

Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
 

Mar 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

And I can assure you that I do not know the exact day or the exact hour that the Lord will return. Wow… didn’t that statement just relieve a lot of tension.

However, nowhere does it say that I cannot know the timing, the chain of events or even when the Tribulation takes place. After all, one has to ask the question “If we are not supposed to know when the Tribulation happens, then why are there so many day counts and date ranges associated to this event in the Bible”… such as, 70 weeks, 69 weeks, 62 weeks, 1 week, 7yrs, 3.5 yrs, time times and a half a time, 42 months, 1260 days, 1290 day, 1335 days, which I will tell you “the day counts and date ranges are there for a reason”.
 

2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

This scripture helps us to clearly understand that God inspired and controlled every word in the Bible. It also points out that doctrine comes from scripture and that scripture defines doctrine instead of doctrine defining scripture as some try to do. And finally these scriptures tell us we have been given everything we need to understand creation, what happened, salvation through Christ, how we should live and even what is yet to come. We are “thoroughly furnished” with the perfect road map of beginning to ending of this world.

Again, to make it clear I am not going to tell you the exact day or exact hour that the Lord returns but based on the scripture I am going to tell you the timing and chain of events of one of the biggest events in the Bible “The Tribulation” and the return of Jesus the Christ.

So let’s start with some scripture that gives us clues to the timing of this event. This method is just one of many possibilities but… it could be the right one! Sealed till the time of the end!

This Generation

1. Mathew

Mat 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

Mat 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

2. Mark

Mar 13:28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:

Mar 13:29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.

Mar 13:30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

3. Luke

Luk 21:29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;

Luk 21:30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

Luk 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

Luk 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

Without delving to deeply into the interpretation of the first part of these verses I will confirm that I agree with what is commonly understood. Most scholars agree that the fig tree in these verses represent Israel and the verse is speaking of Israel becoming a nation again. Furthermore, the verses tell us that the generation that experiences this event shall not pass till the Lord returns and all prophecy of his return is fulfilled.
 

It seems that over the years everyone has always looked at this scripture a little backwards and tried to figure out how long is a generation. But when you really think about it a generation is nothing more than a group. So when you read “This generation shall not pass” as “this group shall not pass” you quickly come to the understanding that we are talking about a life span.

So… are there scriptures that tell us what an average life span is? Why yes, there are verses in the Psalms and in Isaiah.

Let’s take a look.

An Average Life Span

1.

Psa 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

Isa 23:15 And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years shall Tyre sing as an harlot.

These scriptures appear to indicate that an average life span is 70 years. If this is correct all we have to do is add 70 years to the starting point to get the ending year when all is fulfilled. So our diagram would look something like this.

The bible teaches us that a true witness comes in twos and threes. So let’s research a little more to see if we can find any other scripture that gives us more definition to the starting point of the 70 years.

Remember that in both Mathew and Mark that Jesus mentions the Abomination of Desolation and refers us to the prophecies of Daniel. Let’s take a look at what Daniel has to say… I think you will be surprised with what we find.

1.

Dan 9:23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.

Dan 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Dan 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Dan 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

I want to point out items 2 and 3 first which is Daniel chapter 12 verses 4 and 9. These verses clearly tell us that these prophecies are sealed till the time of the end when knowledge has increased. I don’t think that anybody can argue that knowledge has not greatly increased. And that many sense that we are at the time of the end.

Which leads us to this understanding that any interpretation of the prophecies of Daniel prior to the time of the end, could only be at best partially right.

Let’s get back to item 1 and expand on our timeline.

In verse 24 of Daniel chapter 9 we see that 70 weeks is the time period that is set to accomplish everything (All Fulfilled) in this prophecy. Well, 70 weeks calculated as actual weeks is equal to 1 year 4 and a half months and does not equal the 70 years for a life span we determined earlier. Let’s examine this a little closer. Daniel chapter 12 tells us the prophecy is sealed till the time of the end. The most common way to seal written word is to treat it like a riddle and use a play on words.

In the Hebrew language according to the Strong’s Dictionary the word week is shâbûa.
shâbûa : Sevened, a week, a week of years

With a little study we find that this word is also used in the Feast of Weeks which is one of God’s holy feasts. The Feast of Weeks happens once a year in the spring. If the play on words was for the 70 weeks to mean 70 Feast of Weeks, this would equal the 70 years of a life span we discovered in Mathew and Mark.

So now, we have 70 years for the time period to accomplish everything in Daniel 9:24 and we have 70 years for all to be fulfilled in Mathew 24:34.

In the next verse, Daniel 9:25, we are also giving a clear concise starting point for our 70 year timeline.

Dan 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

So when was the commandment to restore? On November 29, 1947 the UN issued Resolution #181, allowing Israel to become a nation once again. Equally important, on July the 5, 1950 the first Israeli Knesset passed “The Law of Return” granting every Jew in the world the right to settle in Israel. It was a Decree to Return.

In Daniel 9:25 the Hebrew word for commandment is “dabar” which can also mean decree. And the Hebrew word for restore is “shub” which can also mean to return.

In verse 25 we are also given the time period of 69 years (Feast of Weeks, Shabua) till Messiah the Prince. And in verse 26 we are given 62 years (Feast of Weeks, Shabua) after which Messiah is cut off. Amazingly when we subtract 62 years from 69 years we are left with 7 years.

Lastly, in verse 27 we are told he will confirm the covenant with many for 1 week and in the midst of the week he cause the abomination of desolation. Because we were left with a remainder of 7 years after subtracting 62 years from 69 years, it appears that we must deduce that the 1 week time period in verse 27 reverts back to one of its original meanings of a week of years which is 7 years.

So let’s take a look at how all these time periods affect our timeline.

Counting events are different than counting years. So the first Feast of Weeks that we can count from the passing of The Law of Return would be June the 9^th1951.

The Timeline of Daniel, Mathew, Mark and Luke

It might be helpful to point out that a typical year in the Hebrew calendar is only 360 days verses the 365 days of the Gregorian calendar that we use today. Also timelines of this type cannot be accurately drawn to scale and still be able to read the notations in them.

We still do not know the exact day or the exact hour.

After reviewing the dates on this timeline you are probably shocked.

A Shocking Realization

For years we have been taught that the 7 year tribulation would start with an agreement between the Palestinians and Israel that will be brokered by the anti-christ. This complete teaching is based off of conjecture from one verse. Let’s take a closer look.

Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The truth is there simply is not enough information in this one verse to conclude who the covenant is between or what parties are involved. Secondly the verse says the covenant is confirmed with many indicating this may not be public knowledge for all. With the way that this verse is written we may not know when the beginning starts until we see the midst of the week.

Here is one thing that you can count on, we will absolutely know when the midst of the week takes place because there are 7 notable events that all happen around that same time period. They are such big events you want be able to miss them.

So this reasoning lends to some very good questions:

Is it possible the beginning of the Week has already happened?

Is the Midst of the Week about to take place?

This is one possibility…

The Feast of Weeks
(A Delineation of Time)

• July 5^th 1950 the Law of Return – 1st Feast of Weeks 9th June 1951

• ————- Time Between 1 to 62 Feast of Weeks

• 62nd Feast of Weeks – 15th May 2013

• 7yr Trib would begin between 62nd & 63rd Feast of Weeks

• 63rd Feast of Weeks – 4th June 2014

   

  The following information contains an astonishing and very scary calculation.

  If the Law of Return is indeed the command to return in Dan 9:25 then we may very well be approaching the Midst of the Week.
   

  The book of Daniel tells us:

  Dan 12:6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

  Dan 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

  Dan 12:8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

  Dan 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

  Dan 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

  Dan 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

  Dan 12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

   

  This scripture is clearly telling us that from the time the sacrifice is taken and the abomination is set up till the end of these wonders shall be 1290 days.

  The calculation…
  So when we subtract 1290 days from the last day of Passover April the 4^th 2021.

  When we add the 1335 days from Daniel 12…

  Sept. 23, 2017
  + 1335 days
  May 19, 2021

  1. Sept. 22, 2017 is the day before the Rev 12 celestial event… the woman clothed in the sun and the moon at her feet. And it is the Midst of the Week.

  2. May 19, 2021 is the day after the 70^th Feast of Weeks which could be the completion of all things Dan 9:24

   

  Just in case this line of reasoning is more than just mere possibility I will list again the events that happen at the Midst of the Week.

  All the Events that happen at the Midst of the Week

  1. Causes the Sacrifice (zebach) and the Oblation (minchah) to cease

  2. Places the Abomination of Desolation

  3. The Anti-Christ (Beast) is given power 42 months

  4. The outer court and the Holy City (Jerusalem) is GIVEN to the Gentiles for 42 months

  5. The 2 Witnesses given power and they prophesy 1260 days (42 months)

  6. The 4^th Seal as laid out in the spreadsheet Seals, Trumps, and Vials
  (Based on the Mathew 24 Parallel to the Seals of Revelation)

  7. Israel looses the war that allows Jerusalem to be given to the Gentiles for 42 months.
     At the Midst of the Week Israel Will Be Overcome, Fall by the Sword and once again Go into Captivity!

  A. He Prevails Against Them – Time and Times and the Dividing of Time (3.5 years)

  B. He Shall Destroy the Mighty and the Holy People.

  C. When They Place the Abomination of Desolation They Shall Fall by the Sword to the Time of the End

  D. For These be the Days of Vengeance – They Shall Fall by the Sword – Jerusalem is Trodden Down – Until The Times of the Gentiles be Fulfilled

  E. The outer court and the Holy City (Jerusalem) is GIVEN to the Gentiles for 42 Months to Tread Under Foot

  F. The Beast Makes War with the Saints, and Overcomes Them has Power for 42 Months

  Joe 3:1 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring AGAIN the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

  I think we can safely say there will be no mistake in recognizing the Midst of the Week and the Abomination of Desolation because at that time Israel will fall by the sword and Jerusalem will be lost to the Gentiles for 3.5 years (The Great Tribulation).

  I pray the Lord opens our eyes to his truth and that we prepare for what is to come!!
