Covenant replacement theology debunked

Thursday, January 11, 2018 13:09
% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

The basic premise behind Covenant replacement theology is that God has abandoned the promises made to Israel allowing them to be fulfilled within His Christian Church instead. However, the theological rhetoric in relation to replacement theology also includes a dual-covenant ideology, which has become an important tenet of mainstream Christianity.

There are two prevalent schools of thought regarding replacement theology expressed within the teachings of Judaism and Judeo-Christianity. This brief synopsis will primarily examine these beliefs within the context of replacement theology. We must not view Judaism through the narrow prism of propaganda that has captured the minds of those who have been infected with a Judeo-Christian ideology.

For those who are able to escape the false gospel programming, the reality with regards to replacement theology becomes strikingly apparent.

Due to the length of this particular study, we will break this report up into several manageable portions.

Judeo-Christianity and replacement theology

Although there are variances, the Judeo-Christian dual-covenant doctrine is not an actual replacement theology as such. It is more of a dualistic yet separate plan of redemption for both the Jewish people and the Gentiles. Some believe that the Old Testament Covenant remains valid for the Jews, while the New Covenant applies only to non-Jews.

The prominent view is that God has promised to save all of Israel. Apparently, He will bless those who bless Israel, and His everlasting promise to them is unconditional. We will come back to this a little later in this article.

Romans 11:16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

Here is an example of the logic that is part and parcel in facilitating a desired doctrinal interpretation. God must have a special plan for Israel because if He has set apart the patriarchs who are the first fruits of the root, then He must have set apart the lump and the branches also.

Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

It is taught that we cannot exclude the Jewish people from their original and permanent covenant promises, as they represent the natural seed of Abraham.

  • If the covenant promise was made to Abraham and his seed, who does this seed refer to?

Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

  • Are the Jewish people synonymous with Spiritual Israel, or does this family consist of all who are in Christ?

Gal 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus

  • Is it not clearly defined that the righteousness of God is only possible through faith in Yahshua the Messiah without the works of the Law (Rom 3:22, 28, Rom 9:32).

Romans 4:13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith

The Judaizers would claim that we can never combine the Church with Israel, as the two are forever separated with unique identities and purposes.

Romans 4:14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect

  • After the advent of Christ, who is the Messiah of the Old and New Testament Saints alike, is the creation of a division within His Church Scriptural?

Romans 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

These are important questions that are easily answered when we allow the Word of God to speak to us (John 14:26).

Romans 9:4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises

According to Judeo-Christians theology, Israel has been temporarily set aside until after the rapture of the church. This religious sect is guilty of Scriptural replacement theology in that incredible doctrinal distortions are presented in order to facilitate this, and many other many non-biblical teachings. Scriptural replacement theology, is an essential study that exposes the most popular albeit destructive end-times teachings that are prevalent today.

The new law of Christ and the Salvation He provides to all who have faithfully endured until the end is the hope of the Old and New Testament saints alike. Christ himself is responsible for the New covenant replacement theology that few are able to accept or even understand for that matter.

Heb 10:9-10 …He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

The frauds at the pulpit proclaim that we are still under the old law given unto Moses. This is evident when they instruct their followers to keep the Sabbath and tithe. These liars are all guilty of the crime of Scriptural replacement theology. Because of these false teachers in the church, many have turned away from the truth and now embrace fables (Rom 16:17, 2 Tim 4:3-4).

Rom 4:14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect

There is your replacement theology explained. One cannot hold onto something that has vanished with the risen Savior. It is impossible to mix the Old Law, and the sacrifices that were a covering for sin, with that of the New Covenant revealed in Christ who takes away sin.

Rom 4:13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

It was prophesized that Abraham would be a father of many nations and that the blessing promised to him might come upon all nations through Yahshua the Messiah.

Is this also a doctrine of replacement theology, that they all might receive the promise of the Spirit through the same faith (Gen 17:1-4, Gal 3:8-14).

Judaism and replacement theology

Yahshua the Messiah also came to redeem those who were under the Old Covenant law, that they too might receive the adoption and be called the sons of God (Gal 4:5, Eph 1:15).

Those who claim to be Jews that cry out against the so-called crime of replacement theology really need to take this complaint up with Yahshua. Yeah, good luck with that!

Tit 1:10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, especially they of the circumcision

The Parable of the Vineyard is in reference to Christ desiring a Spiritual house of Judah that would bring forth fruits worthy of repentance, over the course of several years. The false house of Judah rejected Yahshua, who then declared, “Behold your house is left unto you desolate”.

Tit 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

replacement theology

Replacement theology is an insult to anyone that possesses even the slightest amount of common sense or Spiritual enlightenment. Those who adhere to the tenets of Judaism were never a part of the first Covenant that was given to the Hebrews.

The Pharisaic religion of the Judeans would not allow them to recognize Yahshua as their Messiah. This false house of Judah was declared to be desolate. However, they did have a valid claim as legitimate members of the tribe of Judah, in relation to physicality and genealogy.

The religion of the Jewish people today is also very much dead in God’s eyes. As well, they are not members of the true tribe of Judah physically or spiritually.

Jerusalem and the idolatrous house of Judah that would reject both the Father and the Son was declared desolate (Math 23:37-38; Luke 13:35). It would remain in that desolate condition until the second advent of Christ (Rev 11:1-15; Dan 9:24-27; 2 Ch 7:14).

These people and their religion were contrary to God and man. Today only the names have changed (Lev 26:21-28; Rom 16:17; 1 Thes 2:15-16).

Apparently few are aware of the fact that deception is an indispensable characteristic of the Jewish identity and their religion. As such, what we are dealing with is the attempt to distort the truth with regards to anything or anyone that would expose their compulsive and deceptive attributes. The collective narrations of the truth have effectively enabled these people to do as they please, while at the same time creating the justification for doing so.
