How a Papal UN Visit Marked the 50th Jubilee to Signal End Times
God reinforced the weekly cycle of six days to work and the seventh as a Sabbath with yearly cycles in the same way. Israelites worked the land for six years and were to rest it on the 7th year as a sabbath for the land. And after seven sabbatical years, the 50th was a jubilee year, but jubilees came every 49 years (in Leviticus 25) because the 50th year was also the 1st year of the next sabbatical cycle.
The famous time prophecy pointing to the Messiah (sadly missed by the Jews) was 70 weeks of years, 490, pointing to the time of Daniel 9:24,25. The 490 years spanned 10 jubilees 49 x 10, and it began with a jubilee event when a Persian king gave Israelites freedom to return to their land.
Jubilee meant that dabts were cancelled, servants were given freedom and if land had been sold, it came back to family ownership. A man could not impoverish his children permanently.
Fast-forward 40 more jubilees from the time of Christ (40 x 49 = 1960 years). This brings us to the 50th jubilee—the jubilee of jubilees when Pope John Paul spoke to the UN on the Day of Atonement in 1995—the day that Jubilee is supposed to be proclaimed in Leviticus 25:9,10.
Then there was a 20 year gap until Pope Francis’ UN visit to the UN, also on the Day of Atonement in 2015, but WHY a 20-year gap? Peter says, “Be not ignorant, 1000 years are like a day, a day is like 1000 years, God is not slack…the day of the Lord will come.” 2Peter 3:8-10.
If we integrate the jubilees into 1000 years, 490 years is 10 jubilees + 490 more = 980. There are 20 years left over, signaled by the popes’ visits at the end! This suggests “the day of the Lord”—the end-time period is impending.
When the pope came to the UN in 2015, the year was marked by SIX other signs of a “when-then” nature–
1.“The day of the Lord was signaled by a rare solar eclipse on the equinox.
2. Two weeks after the solar eclipse in 2015, there was a blood moon on Passover. This also is not common, and to have those two events marking the beginning of the biblical year in March, 2015 reminds us that “The sun shall be darkened and the moon turned to blood before the day of the Lord.” Joel 2:31. The “day for the Lord” is the end-time period, and the word translated ‘before’ is paniym means face or facing. In other words, those events face the end-times.
3. “The day of the Lord comes as a thief; when they shall say ‘Peace and safety,’ sudden destruction comes” 1Thessalonians 5:2,3. Iran’s Nuclear Treaty was ‘Peace and safety’ talk—and they violated it with missile tests.
4. Billy Graham said, if God waits much longer, He will have to apologize to Sodom. The Bible calls homosexuality an abomination in Leviticus 18:22, and it was ‘standing where it ought not’ (Mark 13:14) in the Supreme Court, adding to the ‘when-then’ signs like Christ gave re Lot fleeing Sodom, Luke 17:29.
5. Early Christians understood Christ’s warning of the “abomination…standing where it ought not” in Mark 13:14 as Rome. They fled when the Roman army came to Jerusalem in 66 AD, and were spared the siege when Titus returned in 70 AD. The JADE HELM drill [Homeland Eradication of Local Militants] was in the southwestern US in 2015.
6. Rome was also “standing where it ought not” when the pope came to the US Congress because our Constitution says that Congress shall make no laws respecting the establishment of religion, but that’s what the pope is all about. His idea to close businesses on Sunday to save greenhouse gases was about Sunday and the Eucharist, Laudato Si’–paragraph 237, online pdf.
7. The pope’s visit to the UN on the Day of Atonement was the 7th event signifying end-times impending, 7 being God’s numerical signature. The military drill (#5) reminds us that before Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 AD, Cestius came with a Roman army in 66 AD but unexpectedly withdrew. This was the sign that enables Christians to flee Jerusalem before trouble. The parallel to our time suggests 2018 will be trouble and getting out of the city should be considered.

when counting 7 weeks of Sabbaths to determine the Feast of Pentecost, the 49th Sabbath is not the 50th, the first day of the week is the 50th day; 1-7, 1-7, 1-7, 1-7, 1-7, 1-7, 1-7, that 7th Sabbath is the 49th day and the first day of the week that follows the 7th Sabbath is the 50th Day.
And the counting begins on the first day of the week, not from the Sabbath before it.
It is the same with counting the Jubilee.

Alan, I looked at the link you provided and would suggest you consider the lunar calendar given by God when He told Moses the chodesh (think crescent moon that can be seen in Google images when you type chodesh) is the beginning of the month. Based on that, Passover comes on the 15th, but it is ALSO a 7th-day Sabbath as seen in Lev 23:11 — Strong’s 7676, always refers to a 7th day or 7th year. So the Qumran Calendar is off when it shows Passover in the middle of the week. God intended the 7th-day Sabbath to add strength to the observance of Passover, which is why it is called a “high day” in John 19:31 when the 7th day and annual Sabbaths coincided.
Further support for this concept is seen where the word “Sabbath” is first found in Exod 16.
A close look at verses 1,4,5, 22,23 shows that again, the Sabbath was on the 15th, but this is the 2nd month. To have the Sabbath on the 15th two months in a row means they were counting from the new moon as day 1, seven days later on the 8th was Sabbath, and 7 days later on the 15th was Sabbath. You can’t find anywhere in Scripture with a 7th day Sabbath on any other day than 8, 15, 22 or 29, or Arnold Bowen in Conyers Georgia will give you $1000 and I would give you $100. In regard to your math below, please recalculate. 70 weeks of years are 490 years. 50 jubilees from when the Israelites returned in 456 BC was 35 AD and 40 more jubilees was 1995 when the pope went to the UN on the Day of Atonementn–the day that jubilee was proclaimed in Lev 25:9,10. I’m making no claims about dating the 70th jubilee but I am certain about the 50th, the jubilee of jubilees and Daniel is the book cited by Christ to understand. A “High” Sabbath, a High day is one of 7 annual Holy Commanded assembles, God’s Feasts

Passover in NOT a Holy Day it is not a Sabbath, It is NOT a high day. the 14th of the first month is the preparation day for the Feast of Unleavened bread, it is the day the Passover Lamb is bled to death in the evening and roasted whole over a fire and is eaten after sundown.
As the 14th ends at sundown the 15th begins which IS the Feast of Unleavened Bread a Holy Commanded assembly on which no work is to be done except food preparation.
6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD
How can Friday night until Sunday morning be 3 days and 3 nights?
Genesis 1: 5 a day, yome, is the light and a night is the darkness and Christ clearly states there are 12 hours in a day. Sun rise until sunset is approximately 12 hours – a day is the light.

Alan your way lost 70 years so the Jubilee can not be the 50th year, your way has only 48 years between Jubilee years.
If the 50th year is also the first year then from the end of one Jubilee until the beginning of the next there are only 48 years which is why you lost 70 years.

I find it interesting that you do not accept “authorities” but tell me above that I should talk to a rabbi! You label people who might accept what I’m saying an unconverted, but there are many voices in many directions and we should be converted to Scripture as the rule of faith–it’s the book that God gave as His guidelines.
The weight of evidence in Scripture is overwhelming for a Friday crucifixion on the 14th day as the lamb was slain in Egypt and He wrose on the 1st day of the week which was the day the wave sheaf was on the 16th as early believers understood and argued for.
There is only one text (mistranslation by an overzealous scribe?) that conflicts with this about 3 days and 3 nights for Jonah, meaning 72 hours –Michaal Rood uses it to get Wednesday night, etc. but the Bible teaches “in the mouth of two or three witnesses’ and there are more than than for early on the 1st day (six texts) and you can’t have 72 hours from Friday (14th–Exod 12:6 says at even but marinal readings say between the evenings, which is when Christ died and He was put in the grave just before the Sabbath which was the 15th.

I have been observing the 7th Day Sabbath and God’s 7 annual Holy Feasts since 1969,
Every year as the 14th day of the first month ends at sundown and the 15th begin that night is a full moon – every single year.
The Feast of Unleavened Bread begins on a full moon, on the night of the 15th
Every year as the 14th day of the 7th month ends at sundown and the 15th begins that night with a full moon – every single year.
The Feast of Tabernacles begins with a full moon, on the night of the 15th.

Richard the preparation day i.e. Passover is the 14th and the next day, the 15th begins the High Day —– the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
Christ had to be placed in the tomb before the 15th as that day was a HIGH DAY, not a 7th day Sabbath.
The Passover Lambs were bled to death on the 14th and were eaten the night of the 15th as the Feast of Unleavened Bread began.
The women could not buy spices return home and prepare them in the seconds before sundown of the 14th..
These women “rested” on the Sabbath as commanded, they would not have purchased spices on the night of a High day or a Sabbath day and they would have had to buy from a gentile as all Hebrews would have closed shop as the High Sabbath began and the shop owners return home for that Passover supper of the lamb.
Our Wednesday was Passover and our Thursday was the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
The women bought and prepared the spices on our Friday, the preparation day for the 7th day Sabbath, and then –because like my self and Jesus Christ and the Apostles– they obeyed the commandment to rest on the Sabbath.
After the 7th day Sabbath early on the morning of the first day of the week before the sun had risen – they came to the tomb and it was empty.
I fully realize you can not accept this as it turns everything you believe up side down.
God’s Holy Sabbath has not been changed to the day of the sun god,.
God made the 7th day Sabbath Holy time on the 7th day of creation week – show us where it is written the 1st day is now Holy Time and the Sabbath in no longer HOLY to GOD.

I agree with your 40,000 flavors of Christianity and that a very small percentage seem to get it, but I disagree that the New Testament would not have been written if the Jews had gotten it right.
The two olive trees in Zechariah 4 suggest two testaments, but the New Testament would have been different if they recognized Messiah
Whether you’ve been a Feast keeper since 1969 or just last year doesn’t matter. Christ is looking for 11th hour workers who will get proportionately higher reward. That higher reward is for getting the wedding parables right. “He will make [us] ruler over all that He has” in Luke 12:44 and it involves “watching” on the eve of Passover as verse 37 shows, as Christ asked His disciples but they failed Him.
I think we should keep the Lord’s Supper (don’t need to kill a lamb) but we should eat Lamb spiritually by considering the closing scenes of His life and what He bore for us. There is an important modification for Passover
Christ’s closing parables support 2nd Passover timing. It was a provision for Israelites who didn’t travel in winter, and if they took a long journey in spring and couldn’t get back to Jerusalem for Passover, they kept it a month later.
This is based on Numbers 9:10,11, part of the law that Christ said is in effect till heaven and earth pass. Matt5:18
When five women missed the wedding, Christ said, “Watch…you don’t know, (the Greek word, eido, means “be aware”), for the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country.” Matthew 25:13,14.
Christ was saying they didn’t understand, and He linked the reason for their not knowing when to watch (be awake) to the timing as a ‘long journey’ that we now see is a clue for 2nd Passover.
His return for judgment on the US as on Egypt, at 2nd Passover should convince honest Jews that He was who He said He was—the Master who took the long journey to heaven, and His return at 2nd Passover (time of judgment) is according to the law.
Whether we believe in a rapture or whether we pray that God will pass over us in judgment that falls at that appointed time, this is the time to ‘watch.’
Christ’s last seven parables support 2nd Passover
1. “As the days of Noah,” the Flood came with Passover timing. Noah entered the ark on the 10th day, the same day the sacrifice was chosen in Egypt. Exodus 12:2.
When people didn’t enter the ark at Noah’s invitation, they were selecting themselves as a sacrifice, but it was the 2nd spring month. Genesis 7:4,11. Anyone could have entered the ark then, but they were afraid to be laughed at. God isn’t arbitrary; the choice is left to us.
2. “Then [same timing, 2nd Passover] shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, the other left.” The wording could mean martial law for people who failed to flee as per Christ’s warning earlier, Mark 13:14.
3. Next Christ cites the goodman. The King James Bible is helpful because it shows the goodman is on a long journey, but he comes back at the yom kece, full moon in Proverbs 7:19,20, KJV. Passover comes on a full moon, but “long journey” means 2nd Passover because of the provision in Numbers 9:10,11.

4. At the end of Matthew 24, the evil servant begins to smite his fellow servants. This also has 2nd Passover timing because…
5. “Then [same timing] shall the kingdom of heaven be like ten virgins and we showed that parable had 2nd Passover timing…when five missed the wedding, Christ said, Watch…you don’t know, for the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country. Matthew 25:13,14.
6. In the final parable, Christ is the Master who took the journey into a far country and He will return for an accounting (parable of the talents) in conformity to the law of Numbers 9:10,11. The wise servants were ready when the slothful one was not.
7. The 7th parable with this timing is the fig tree in Matthew 24:32–“When summer is nigh” supports 2nd Passover because summer is not nigh in April, but it is in May. When Christ said to learn a parable of the fig tree, He had just cursed a barren fig tree in Matthew 21:19.
It was the nature of the fig tree in that locality that when it had leaves, it also had fruit, and here was a tree that promised fruit, but like the Jewish nation, it was barren. The lesson is for all time and with America’s Christian heritage, it is like the barren tree that Christ cursed as a lesson for us.

I do not keep the physical Passover on the night of the 15th I follow the example Jesus Christ set for His disciples, I eat unleavened Bread and drink wine on the night of the 14th of Nisan.
Once each year as commanded I symbolically eat the flesh and drink the blood of Jesus Christ.
The 15th is the physical Passover and the 14th is the spiritual Passover,
“Of the approximately 1.5 billion professing Christians in the world today I count myself in the one half of one percent ”

I did not say the above–someone else did, and your accusing spirit reminds me that the devil is the accuser of the brethren, Rev 12:10. Please just address the issues and try to believe the best of all and leave the work of judging to God.

Before Its News sends me an email on every response to my article and when it came saying “Hahaha So you call yourself a christian now,” I took it as mistakenly addressed to me because it had no user name (like Truthseeker) at the top when you began writing. My fault but I think it would help if we address the person we wish to message.

Not one to ever go for extra-Biblical “prophets” or blood moon eclipses and the like, as a matter of fact routinely, you could say automatically, pay no mind to, dismiss, all false prophets without obvious “thus saith the Lord” scripture proof of anything, this jubilee business does give one pause. It is noteworthy the British took Israel from the Turks, after hundreds of years, in 1917, then, 50 years later, in 1967, Jerusalem is again captured by the Jews. If nothing else, it’s clear major things happened in a span of around 50 years, including Israel being declared a nation in 1948. (Ezekiel 37, et al, roared to life!) Now, we are around 50 years after 1967, and you do have to wonder that we’re not on the cusp of the next major event?
These are exciting times for the believer. We can definitely say and just think of all the generations that couldn’t say they’ve seen prophetic fulfillments like Israel, which is a major, major sign, and certainly not the only one, of many, but things we are living to see unfold, and how we can actually see a temple coming about and the like, when other generations would not have been able to see how anything would happen in what had become a wasteland. Last I’ve read, the Temple Institute in Israel has stated they could have a temple in operation within 6 months. Reminds me of these verses:

33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
“Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.” Isn’t it also interesting and so very true the words of our Lord Jesus are more real and relevant than ever to believers, even scoffers, and this a couple thousand years on? How many words spoken by the “greats” among unregenerate mankind are dead and forgotten, in that same couple thousand years? Can you quote Caesar on much of anything?

Doesn’t the New Testament end beautifully? “Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”
2 Timothy 4:8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
