None of the final four Repugnant candidates meets all of my personal requirements for POTUS.  However, I firmly believe that all four are better than Obama.  Hence, I will support whoever wins the nomination.  I could be like Sarah Palin and many of the others who are waiting until the final nominee is selected before they give their endorsement.  However, I choose not to sit on the fence and, instead, to support Mitt Romney because I believe that he will be the one who will beat Obama and will conduct himself as a fair and all-inclusive POTUS instead of who will only support those on the far right.  Those who only support the far right will be as divisive and detrimental to the well-being of the United States as is Obama who supports only the far left.  I want someone who will be a uniter, not a divider.  I believe Mitt Romney will bring together people from both sides of the aisle, and even though I believe he will attempt to achieve fiscal conservative, social conservative, and constitutional conservative goals in most cases, he will be the one who will not revert to class warfare, religious warfare, racial warfare, and political party warfare.

None of the four candidates is really pushing to get Obama to release his true birth certificate and prove that he is a natural-born citizen.  Hence, that is a non-issue among the four Repugnant candidates.  Romney will push for all illegal aliens standing in line like all the others who are doing it legally.  He is not for blanket amnesty as is Newt Gingrich.  Romney will support building a fence and keeping illegals from clandestinely entering the United States through holes in the border.  Romney will be for protecting our border states instead of continuing the suits that the Obama administration is leveling on several states right now.

Romney has been evolving politically and ideologically over the past three decades.  Reagan was a liberal Democrat before he switched over to being a Republican.  I was a liberal JKF Democrat in the early 1960s and switched over to Republican shortly after his election.  However, in 2008, the Repugnant Party left me, so I do not claim to be a Republican but an un-Republican instead.  Romney was governor of one of the most (if not the most) liberal states in the Union.  Hence, to get elected he needed to move to the center and run as a moderate.  He had to deal with a legislature that was 85% Democrat.  Almost everything he did as governor of Massachusetts, he took the conservative bent.  He vetoed hundreds of Democrat-passed bills by the legislature.  He did not raise taxes but cut taxes instead.  He balanced the budget.  He was for marriage between a man and a woman, not between the same sexes.  He was against killing babies in the womb.  The liberal Democrats fought him tooth and nail throughout his four years.  I can understand why he did not want to run for a second term and desired to return to the private sector instead.

The Democrats, far-right Repugnants, and the lame-stream media have demonized Romney as a liberal, leftist, and everything but the true conservative that he has evolved to become over the past three decades.  I know Mitt Romney, and as POTUS, I know he will not conduct himself as Obama is carrying on as POTUS.  I know he will not conduct himself as Santorum will as a far-right social conservative who approved of the stimulus and bailout legislations, was a big pork barreler, and is a religious bigot.  I know he will not conduct himself as Gingrich who has a long list of skeletons in the closet, who cannot be trusted with interns, and who would allow amnesty of all illegal aliens.  In addition, Gingrich would be a very vengeful POTUS who will be all rhetoric and politically motivated in everything he does—just like Obama.  I like Ron Paul except for his foreign policy, anti-military mindset, pro-abortion, pro-legalizing marijuana, and other such strange political ideas and religious biases.  He is spot on regarding fiscal conservatism, but I do not like many of his other social and foreign policy thoughts.

I know some of you do not like Romney because of much of the stuff you have written and distributed in the past indicated to me that you did not like him.  However, I respect your thoughts and beliefs in that regard.  I only ask that you show mutual respect and allow me to select whom I desire to be the next POTUS.  I am of the firm belief that if Romney should ever win the nomination and eventually the presidency, it will be because of and by divine intervention.  With everyone (i.e., Democrats, Repugnants, and lame-stream media) so much against him and the demonizing that they have done to his record, image, and reputation, he will not win unless God makes it happen.  I know his chance of winning is around 30%, so if he does win, it will be because God willed it.

You may think I am crazy for thinking this way, but I really believe that religious bigotry and prejudice are behind all of this opposition to Romney—even though nobody will come out and really say the truth about the matter.  The only ones who display their true religious bigotry are Rev. Jeffers (who supported Rick Perry) and those religiously bigoted folks who post anti-Mormon messages on the very far-left and far-right blogs.  They obviously do not practice the Christianity that they so profess that they are and do not believe in Freedom of Religion.  They are as dangerous as those fundamentalist Muslims who desire to replace our Constitution with Sharia Law.
