“JEWEL In the doldrums” or the real-jewel lost/missing?
What a dichotomy of plight of so-called leaders of panth/sikhs, one is seen pleading/requesting CM P.BADAL to voluntary say ‘NO‘ to the GIFT and other ‘Akaal Takht Leader/preacher’ is all-set to GIFT Sikh’s ”panth-ratan” tile or “Minister P.BADAL is JEWEL of SIKHS” no-matter what.
Does it not look like KIDS-GAME SETUP (drama) for panth/sikhs to remain “distracted and distressed and disturbed” for opposing recent “Advani-Rath-Yatra in punjab” that was promoted by Minster P.BADAL or something bigger being played here?
They think they can fool people with their ‘DRAMA’ into believing that the so-called leaders are leading SIKHS into 21st century with PRIDE, its their folly.
Is there a reason to believe that SIKHS so-called leaders are mis-leading SIKHS and dumping them just so that they gain some political mileage from POLITICAL RULERS?
While the ‘Akkal Tahakt Leader’ with consent of all 5 Tahakt Leaders is on to conferring ”panth-ratan” tile or “Minister P.BADAL is JEWEL of SIKHS“,
on the other hand the major consensus amongst SIKHS is that CM P.BADAL is not-worthy at-all.
However, other so-called leader (dal-khalsa Mr.Kanwar) is seen requesting and pleading ‘CM P.BADAL” to do him a favor by saying ‘no’ to the title ‘Minister P.BADAL is JEWL of SIKHS”, according to dal.khalsa leader ”Mr. Kanwar”. Its like dal-khalsa-india ’mr. kanwar’ pleading for clemency from CM P.Badal for 5 Akaal Takhats decision, wow now Sikhs shall get some touch of reality why ‘panth’ Sikhs is in ‘down-ride’ not-in-chardi-kallaa.
Mr. Kanwar has in-trun appeased both Akaal Takhats (5 preachers/leaders) and CM P.BADAL while the whole PANTH/SIKHS are in a tizzy figuring out what’s going on, on what grounds 5 Preachers/Leaders (Tahakt) of PANTH made-up their mind on the title “Minister P.BADAL is JEWEL of SIKHS“……

Say no to Panth Rattan title, Dal Khalsa urges CM Badal
The Dal Khalsa, in a letter to Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, has asked him to say no to the “Panth Rattan Faqr-e-quam” title, as has been announced by Akala Takhat Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh.
In a communiqué faxed to Badal, the party’s political secretary, Kanwar Pal Singh, said that the arbitrary decision of Jathedar Gaini Gurbachan Singh to bestow the title on Badal at Akal Takht on December 5 has plunged the community into crisis. The letter pleaded that since Badal was the leader of the party, which nominates the SGPC president and appoints Jathedar Akal Takht, he should voluntarily “refuse to accept the title of Panth Rattan”, as the Jathedar cannot be of any help in bringing the community out of crisis.

All India Sikh Student Federation (AISSF) appealed to Giani Gurbachan Singh, Jathedar Sri Akal Takhat Sahib to confer “Panth Ratan” on Shaheed Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale instead of bestowing Panth Ratan on a political personality Parkash Singh Badal. Throughout his political career Badal has continuously defied principles of Sikhism for political gains. So much so, that to fulfill his political ambitions Badal has unceremoniously removed last two Jathedars of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib, Bhai Ranjit Singh and Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti.
Recently Parkash Singh Badal has launched former police officer Mohd. Izhar Alam as SAD (Badal) candidate, who is notorious for torturing and killing Sikhs, and has welcomed BJP leader Advani who openly supported military action on Sri Harmandir Sahib in June 1984 resulting in demolition of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib and death of thousands of Sikhs. Citing these anti-Panth actions, AISSF President Karnail Singh Peermohammad declared that Parkash Singh Badal is the most unworthy personality for Panth Ratan.
According to President AISSF, “Panth Ratan” should be bestowed upon Shaheed Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale as Akal Takhat has already declared Sant Bhindranwale as “Shaheed” for laying his life to uphold the honor and principals of Sikhism. Sikh Panth holds Shaheed Sant Bhindranwale as an icon for Sikh nation’s struggle for right to self determination and separate identity of Sikhism. Only a personality like Shaheed Sant Bhindranwale is worthy of Panth Ratan and not a controversial political personality like Parkash Singh Badal who has no contribution to cause of Sikhs and has only exploited the emotions of Panth to gain votes, added Peermohammad.
While urging Taksal chief to support Panth Ratan for Shaheed Sant Bhindranwale, Federation urged Sant Harnam Singh Khalsa to sever his unholy alliance with SAD (Badal) and instead follow the honorable footsteps of his predecessor Shaheed Sant Bhindranwale by taking forward the struggle for Sikhs right to self determination. Federation President Peermohammad appealed the Sikh community around the world to write letters to Sri Akal Takhat Sahib urging Giani Gurbachan Singh to confer Panth Ratan on Shaheed Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.

Badal to be honoured with Panth Rattan Fakr-e-Qaum
Anandpur Sahib, November 25 Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh made this announcement at the public meeting held here following the successful launch of the Virasat-e-Khalsa memorial. The jathedar said this decision had been taken following a meeting of all five jathedars of the five Sikh ‘takhts’. He said there was a consensus that Badal’s contribution to the Sikh community was unique and deserved due recognition. The title will be bestowed on the CM on December 5 at the Akal Takht in the Darbar Sahib complex in Amritsar. The rally also saw the Chief Minister becoming emotional, saying a new wonder of the world had been created for the next generation. He also described the occasion as humbling, saying such a mammoth task would not have been achieved without the blessings of the Almighty. Claiming the heritage museum had been dedicated to humanity, he said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had principally agreed to inaugurate the complex following a request from him. Badal said the state Congress leadership, however, dissuaded the PM from participating in today’s historic function. He said personal invitations had been extended to all Congress legislators and MPs, but they seemed to have decided to boycott the function. Badal said that it was the duty of the government to construct such memorials and the Virasat-e-Khalsa was a step in this direction. He said that his government would also dedicate to people the Chhota Ghallughara Memorial in Khanuwan Chamb in Gurdaspur district, the Wadda Ghallughara at Kup Rahera in Sangrur distrct and the Fateh Burj as Baba Bandha Singh War Memorial at Chhapar Chiri in Mohali district on November 28, 29 and 30, respectively. SAD president and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal said the government was committed to construct memorials commemorating the supreme sacrifices of the martyrs who laid down their lives for the Sikh panth. He said, “Nations, who forget their martyrs, are bound to vanish with the passage of time.” He also appealed to the youth to take a vow to abstain from the menace of drugs to ensure harmonious and prosperous Punjab. BJP president Nitin Gadkari, while appreciating the Chief Minister’s initiative in establishing the Virasat-e-Khalsa, said it was unfortunate that the Prime Minister did not attend the function despite being invited by Badal personally.
