Two miracles that are more miraculous than a virgin birth

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

The miracle of God Creating 2 human beings in the Garden of Eden trumps any virgin birth.

Not only did God not need a human father to create Adam or Eve, God also didn’t need mothers to conceive either of them.  God would prefer that both Joseph and Mary be virgins when they get married (unless God has a double standard like most males).

From a human perspective Adam and Eve are “Double virgin” pure L.O.L.  Since their creation isn’t a product of human passion or lust, you would think that Adam and Eve would remain righteous and sinless forever.  For neither one of them had a sinful mother or sinful father for them to blame their sin nature on.

All humans have wheat and tears in our lives, even if we are Christian or some other belief system.  God will separate the part of our being that is made in the Image of God, from the part of us that is sinful (our tares).  God will cast our sins into hell, which is everything that we think, do, and say that displeases God and the part of us that is like God will be reunited with God.  When God separates us from our sins, then there is no longer anything in our personhood that keeps us from coming into the presence of God.

When the Bible says, “I never knew you:  Depart from me, you that work iniquity”.  “Since all of us have sinned and come short of the Glory of God”, it is obvious the verse, “You that work iniquity” is referring to our sin nature that “Isn’t” made in the image of God.  Therefore God does spiritual surgery on all of us at the resurrection of the living and the dead and our sinful nature is cast into hell, and that sinful part of us will experience weeping and gnashing of teeth for eternity.

When we are told in the Bible “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow” is talking about everyone made in the Image of God rejoicing that our Messiah Redeemer has saved us.  God would never force Himself on anyone (in this life or the life to come.  God would have no reason to “Force” our sin nature to lie and humble itself before God, simply because God would be forcing our old sin nature to make an insincere response to God (and a forced confession would make God a spiritual bully).  God’s image in us longs to be reunited with God!!!

All religions pretty much kidnap God.  Jews will sincerely believe that they are God’s favorite children; and the Muslims and Christians will say the same.  The truth is, that “God doesn’t show favoritism” to any individual who has ever lived.  In the new heaven or on the new earth, we will not have a religion, only a “Pure” loving relationship with our Creator and each other.  There will be no religion classifications (Jews, Christians, atheist and Muslims etc.) and no more will there be strife, discord, and hatred among God’s family members.  And only a very foolish and naive Christian would believe that God established the 100’s of Christian denominations that exist in the 21 Century, for that would make God look like He is the AUTHOR OF CONFUSION.

Most Christians believe that there will only be Christians in heaven.  This is a self-serving Theology that is easy to refute.  There have been 10’s of billions of humans who lived and died before Jesus was ever born, who never heard of the name of Jesus.  The billions of people who lived and died thousands of years before Jesus was born are all dead (waiting for the resurrection) and they were all saved about 2,000 years ago when God cried out and said, “It is finished”.  We know it was God redeeming us, because flesh and blood can’t save itself; only God has that power to give us a resurrection from the dead and life eternal.

There are 3 reasons why Adam and Eve and you and me sin:  (1) we don’t have the power, will or spiritual desire to stay perfect (2) we have a human created spirit that becomes self-centered and egocentric at a very early age (3) and the primary reason we are sinful is because WE ARE NOT GOD’S but only created beings, for we are His adopted children.  God only had one human son and He used 2 descendants of Adam and Eve (Joseph and Mary) to provide HIM, this Tabernacle of flesh to house His Spirit inside of, for the next 33 years.

Almost everyone believes Jesus will be touched by sin if Joseph is his father.  They completely overlook the fact that Mary “Like the rest of us” needs a Savior, only sinners need a Savior.  Therefore, the only way for Jesus to be sinless and not catch a sin nature from Joseph or Mary is for Jesus to come into this world full grown, like Adam and Eve.  But if Jesus came into this world full grown then he wouldn’t be of Adam and Eve’s family tree.  Joseph and Mary conceiving this child will make Jesus a part of the human race and he will be 100 % human “Like” the rest of us, in our conception, birth, and life experiences (but without a sin nature) and pending death.

With Jesus supposedly being born without a human father means that Jesus is half-human and his genealogy on his mothers side starts with Jesus and goes through his mothers ancestry all the way back to Adam and Eve; but Jesus’ genealogy on his step-fathers side of the family doesn’t go anywhere (not even back to his grandfather (Joseph’s dad), and not forward because he supposedly had no child or children.

Humans get “No credit” for their salvation (for it happened 2,000 years ago).  We love and seek God because He loved and sought us FIRST.  Our capacity to know, please or serve God doesn’t originate in our mind, will or emotions in what we think, do and say; for the Spirit of God gets all the credit for prompting all of us to desire to repent, and turn from our wicked ways and love God, self and others more fully.  Doing this means we are living the “Abundant life” when we acknowledging there is a God and He is a rewards those who serve Him.  We also want to tell others about how God redeemed all of humanity 2,000 years ago and we are to serve and proclaim that Gods Spiritual name is Emmanuel and the suffering servant God became we call by the human name of Jesus, the Tabernacle of Gods dwelling.

Humans are responsible for “All” the pain and suffering on this earth, which vindicates God.  In other words, God has never done any harm to any of us.  But we blame God for all the tragedies we experience in life because we know He has the power to stop all our pain and suffering instantly.

In the future God will prevent all of us from experiencing any sin or suffering in our lives.  God could have prevented sin from entering all the generations from Adam and Eve onward to and including the 21st Century.  But human are finite created creatures and they can’t understand truth the way a non-created being would think.

If God created us and then prevented sin from ever happening in the first place, humans made in God’s image would hold the Theological view that God’s perfection and ours are equal in expression.  In other words a perfect human that was never allowed to sin would say to God.  God, I know you are perfect and you say we are perfect; so why isn’t our perfection equal to your perfection?  There is no such thing as “Perfect, more perfect and most perfect”.  You just have one word in English that doesn’t adequately define the magnitude of the true meaning of perfection concerning God.  God is the source of our life and the reason of our future perfection.

Since God allowed sin into the world, and in our future state of perfection, God would only have to show us a video of the sinful state of humanity over these thousands of years that humans have existed on earth; and we will totally understand even in our finite minds that God is the source of all love and perfection, and all humans are only the recipient’s of God’s love and perfection.

So you have the all-powerful Father God, who puts His Spirit into a human tabernacle (called by the name of Jesus) who becomes The “Suffering servant” Messiah; to save us from our sins.  Jesus wore several hats reflecting his many different roles as a human; being a son of Joseph and Mary, husband to Mary Magdalene and probably the father of Barabbas. In Jewish custom a male is a man at bar mitzvah age 13, so the Jews with the help of the Romans kidnap the son of Jesus.  And Jesus will die in his son place just like any other loving dad would do.

In the physics of space you have length, width, and height. Each is intricately a part of each other. The other two are necessary to explain the third; but you only have one physical location, and not 3.  Also, a male can be a son, husband and a father, but he is still only “ONE” person.  There is no Christian “Tri-union” God (3 in one); for there can only be “One” God.  God is a Spirit who indwells the body of Jesus; this thought has the 3 words (God, Spirit and Jesus), but these words don’t imply that I am speaking of 3 God’s.

The flesh of Jesus (passed down from Adam and Eve) isn’t God but simply the Spirit of God residing in human flesh; which makes Him ”Like” us in our humanity.  Or you can think of the word “God” (as being a noun) and “Spirit” and “Jesus” are adjectives that modify the noun (God).

God the Father is the pre-conceived Emmanuel (God with us), and about 2,000 years ago the Deity of God began to indwell a human created body of Jesus (that isn’t Deity) but is 100% human like Adam, Eve and you and me.

A physical God touches our hearts and souls and comforts us; when He became human like us.

Sincerely,

    • FAT AXL!!!

I wrote out another full response to your above ‘contribution.’ But when I proofread it, the thought occurred to me that I was only repeating myself, and therefore harassing the folks who read what I post to you. I’ve said it all before. More than once. I’ve quoted Scripture. You haven’t. Not to support your non-scriptural ideas. So out of respect to the other readers, I’ll cut to the chase and post only the final two sentences of my response to you:

Write your own bible, Arthur – like many other men have done before you. That way, you can speak authoritatively on the gospel as you see it, and TCB can go do something more productive with his time than rebut your foolishness.

      • maxwell

…Arthur…I think TCB has a real good idea there. Write your own bible…start at the beginning.

Barrabas? Jesus is now the Father of a murder kidnapped by medieval Jews???

The Jewish ceremony of bar mitzvah only appeared in the middle ages as far as I know (about the same time, relatively speaking, as the Mormons habit of wearing magical jammies and Troothytits started rebuilding the Ark of the Old Covenant out in the swamps.

    • Damien

And your continued prissy assumption that God would prefer it if Joseph had not been married before is just flat out creepy.

    • Arthur Trafford

Before I write my own Bible, I will get in a time travel machine and go back and observe what the Catholics added, deleted or changed in the Bible. The Protest Reformation is proof that the demonic religious leaders in the early church were corrupt (you don’t reform something that is perfect).

The Catholics wanted to promote a celibate Jesus and celibacy in the priesthood in the 4th Century. They also did character assassination on Mary Magdalene because the Catholics didn’t want to project a Jesus that is 100 % human “Like” us (for it went against their ex-pagan beliefs)

They wanted to cover up Jesus having a son, so they delete Barabbas as being the son of Jesus and say he is a prisoner guilty of committing murder and being part of a revolt against Roman forces. In the 1800’s the Mormons and the Jehovah Witnesses changed the Scriptures so the same thing could and did happen 1,700 years ago.

The Protestant Reformation didn’t take things back to 1st Century beliefs. And if you think humans in the past didn’t have their own agenda in the 4th Century (just as they do now); the Star Trek starship commander would say, “You are out of your Vulcan mind L.O.L.

      • maxwell

…Arthur…you don’t need a time machine to look for all the things in your stated beliefs, that are not scriptural. Start with a clean slate, eliminate all the traditions of your “religion”…and read the book like it was a brand new work. Pray for understanding. You don’t have to rewrite the bible, just absorb it as it IS…and forget everything you’ve been taught…find the truth for yourself, in the simplicity that Christ taught it. This is definitely possible.

      • Damien

BarAbbas means Son Of The Father.

        WHO. IS. YOUR. DADDY. ARTHUR?

Has Troothytits told you it’s him Luke?

        • Damien

And did BarAbbas vote neocon after going to the type of good school that wouldn’t let the children of supposed cheap sluts like Mary Magdalin attend (having ten abortions not counting as ‘cheap slut’ obviously)?

    • The Clucker

After reading Arthur’s new headline, as well as his arguments and debates with people posting comments in the past…

I get the feeling that he’s trying to stir up trouble on purpose to get clicks. Way to be controversial, Arthur. At least you’re doing well in that area. I hope you post an article on Bigfoot soon. You’d be so popular if you did that. Seriously. It’s kind of a thing around here. One guy already has the Bigfoot market cornered but with the right headline you could get a bit of a foothold.

      • Anonymous

If not Bigfoot, how about a little Nibiru? That would be refreshing.

        • The Clucker

Yes. The dreaded Nibiru will GUARANTEE Arthur some views. Most of the folks around here prefer to live in a fantasy world.

      (1) Including women in a genealogy is unusual, but not unique (see Genesis 11:29, 22:20 24, and 1 Chronicles 2:18 21, 24.).

      (2) Genealogies in the New Testament (found in Matthew and Luke) are not stupid or boring. These are talented writers, with limited space, acting under the inspiration of the Spirit, and if they included something, it behooves us to pay some attention to it. This is particularly true for Matthew where the genealogy gets pride of place as the introduction to the Gospel. There are many ways–infinite ways–one could begin a text, and to do so with a genealogy means something.

      (3) These are pretty dang weird (that’s a technical term I learned in graduate school) women to include. Why didn’t Matthew just stick with Sarah, Rebekah, and Rachel? A brief review:

      (a) Thamar (or, as you know her in the OT, Tamar). Cover your ears, kids, here’s Tamar’s story: denied a new spouse by her father-in-law after the old ones die, she pretends to be a prostitute, has sex with her father-in-law, and has a kid. More here.

      (b) Rachab (in the OT: Rahab). This is the madame who hides the spies who are scoping out Jericho. In exchange for her protection of them, they don’t destroy her house.

      (c) Ruth. Ruth chooses the God of Israel over motherhood, propositions Boaz, ends up being a mother, etc.

      (d) Bathsheba. David saw her performing a (ritual) bath, had sex with her, found out she was pregnant, had her husband killed, and married her. But note that her name isn’t in the genealogy–her husband’s is. More on this in a minute.

      (e) Mary. You know her.

OK, back to the ‘why.’ Some possibilities:

      (1) They are regarded as sinners and therefore

      (a) present the need for a savior.

      (b) serve as a contrast to Jesus.

      (2) They are foreigners or have foreign connections and therefore imply that Jesus ministry will ultimately extend to the Gentiles.

      (3) They show initiative.

      (4) They each experience some sexual irregularity and/or unconventional domestic arrangement and therefore prepare the audience for the virgin birth.

      (5) They break rules.

      (6) They show Gods power to work through history.

      (7) They were all without male protection.

      (8) They are examples of the greater righteousness that will be preached in the Sermon on the Mount (chapters 57); Judah finally says, she hath been more righteous than I? (Genesis 38:26), and Boaz says that Ruth is a virtuous woman? (Ruth 3:11).

      (9) By their righteous need to circumvent the Mosiac Law, these women illustrate its shortcomings.

      (10) These women defy expectations as Jesus does.

      (11) These women are intercessors Tamar forces Judahs line to continue, Rahab brings her family into the house of Israel, Ruth brings the Moabites into Davids line, and Bathsheba brings her son Solomon to the throne.

      (12) These are powerless women. (What should this teach the reader about Jesus heritage?)

      (13) All of the men in the stories (Judah, the king of Jericho, David, and Boaz) are guilty of failing to act to save Israel.

      (14) There is a violation of social norms to serve a divine purpose in each story.

      (15) Perhaps there is no pattern that applies to all five women but rather separate reasons for including each individual:

      (a) Ruths child really becomes Naomis child, just as Jesus becomes Josephs, stressing the idea of adoption.

      (b) Tamar chose not to expose Judah publicly when she could have as Joseph does with Mary.

      (c) Tamar, like Jesus, risks her life for others.

      (d) Deuteronomy 23:36 prohibits relations with Moab. But Ruth ˜redeems her people in the eyes of Israel through her kindness: she leaves the familiar for the alien where she has no home, like Jesus. Ruth also allies herself with the powerless, as Jesus does.

      (e) The circumlocution for Bathshebas name functions to put Uriah into the line”which he should be, because he is a righteous person. Uriah refused to spend time with his wife while his comrades and the ark of the covenant were in battle (see 2 Samuel 11:11). This is in marked contrast with the actions of David: at the time that he spotted Bathsheba, he should have been in battle but was not (see 2 Samuel 11:1).

To sum: Matthew is making a deliberate decision as an author to introduce us to Jesus by way of a genealogy. Further, while we think of genealogies as objective, non-symbolic facts, that isn’t how Matthew is using this one: Matthew has deliberately shaped this list via the inclusion of women–and unusual ones at that. Their names are red flags on the first page of Jesus’ story–red flags that Matthew is using to teach us something about Jesus. But what is it?

    • Arthur Trafford

I will admit that the Apostles had an easier time dealing with oppositions in their daily lives than we do in the 21st Century. The Apostles didn’t have to argue with the Jewish or gentile community. The miracles done by the Apostles trumped the belief systems of everyone they had dealings with. The miracles validated their message is from the God Emmanuel and everyone healed would spread the Gospel of Good News to everyone they know and even to strangers.

Paul could have said “If I Paul heal you, or someone you know of a disease, will you believe that Jesus is the promised Messiah and that Jesus is born of a virgin”?

The converse is also true, for Paul could make a statement something like “If I Paul heal you, or someone you know of a disease, will you believe that Jesus is the promised Messiah and that Jesus if the son of Joseph”?

If the virgin birth story were true, then the Catholic Church would have no trouble converting gentile pagans to Christianity (for Christian Theology, pagan views and Greek Mythology would already be “The same”). And scriptures wouldn’t have to be added, deleted or changed in the Catholic Bible.

The virgin birth Theology for the Jews would find the virgin birth a stumbling block, for no Jew has ever been looking for a virgin born Messiah (only blood relatives of their family tree). If what the Catholics originally taught was different than what the gentiles believed then the Pope and his Priests are helpless and can’t preform miracles that would trump the pagans beliefs, so the Catholics would have to acquiesce to the wishes of the gentile pagan Theology, & Greek Mythology and therefore make changes in our Christian Bible.

Christians in the early church had to respect, honor and be patriotic to the pagan customs in their community. Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus on December 25 a pagan holiday. They also celebrate Easter on the pagan holiday to honor the goddess of fertility (the Easter Bunny and eggs). Christianity had to piggyback in on those holidays or Christianity would have vanished.

You don’t believe me, just try celebrating the birth of Jesus on May 12 and see how many Christians and others will worship and give gifts to each other on this “New” holiday. For the buyers and sellers would ignore this new holiday and it would be-no-more remembered in the near future.

You have made it clear that the Christians (which you are not) bible saying that Jesus was born of a virgin suggests that Jesus’ mother Mary was a hairdressing whore and therefore must be fake so what you now have to do is show why you think all Biblical accounts of all Jesus female ancestors being ‘whores’ must also have been rewritten by Christians and Jews.

And are smutty smutty smutty smut smut!

Oh and you now also believe Christ and the Apostles’ miracles were Satans miracles that you, in your posts and articles, can hardly be expected to compete with?
