Open Letter to the Republican Party

Dear Republicans,

The Republican Party does not even care about its constituents, yet it expects the people to (a) vote for its candidates, (b) walk precincts for its candidates, and donate money. Give us a break! I have written your people and candidates time after time, and they have ignored me. I could have gotten very excited about Meg Whitman and Carly Fiorina, but they have ignored me. Therefore, as an un-Republican since the 2008 blowout fiasco, I will ignore them. I could have been a very avid supporter as you can see by my blogs on “Before It’s News” and on “BlogSpot.com.”  However, I will hold my nose and vote for them because the alternatives are much stinker than are these two Republicans in Name Only (RINOs).

If the Repugnant Party does not shape up, it will become irrelevant in 2012 and 2014.  The time is getting ripe for a real constitutional conservative third party, where a vote for the Republican Party will be a vote for the Democrats. You would think you people would have learned after both the 2006 and 2008 fiascos. The Republicans will win this time and take back Congress, but do not get too smug with your victories.  If the Repugnant Party reverts and acts like it did to cause the losses in 2006 and 2008, that will be the death knell of the Repugnant Party! I am not mad—just roaring mad! Best you folks remember that we conservatives will go to the polls, hold our noses, and reluctantly vote for the lesser of the two evils on November 2, 2010.

I initially was a Kennedy liberal Democrat in my early years. I wised up, switched to Republican, and voted a straight Republican ticket for 45 years. However, I was disillusioned with George W. Bush’s last year in office because of all of the liberal RINO actions taken to screw the economy and our country. Therefore, I swore off being a loyal Republican and became an un-Republican and a “strict constructionist” Constitutional Conservative ever since then.

I am not happy with the current RINO traitors in the party starting with Dede Scozzafava of New York and on through Charlie Crist of Florida and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska. Additionally, I am very displeased with the shabby lukewarm support the Repugnant Party is giving Christine O’Donnell of Delaware, Rand Paul of Kentucky, and Sharron Angle of Nevada, not to mention the terrible treatment you give to Sarah Palin. I am not a Tea Partier, but I do support all that they are doing. If the Repugnant Party keeps up its RINO tendencies, it will soon become a “has been” party.
