Download Slingshot on BlackBerry 10

Today Facebook has launched their Snapchat rival application called Slingshot globally for both Android and iOS. A heads up to those who want to try it on BlackBerry 10 – it works. I downloaded it directly on Snap and it installed just fine without any Google Play service issues like some other apps we’re itching for that won’t work. Like Snapchat, you can share a photo or video to your friends. But there’s a catch – you have to send something back to your friend in order to open the media received by them. It’s an interesting tactic to keep the conversation going as media will keep
flowing back and forth.

A side note, it’s definitely nice to have and enjoy the same application at launch along with Android and iOS users, even though it isn’t “official” for BlackBerry 10. So head over to Snap or an alternative Android app repository to grab a copy today.
