Falsification of a hypothetical single truth (like “the true tree of life” and “Higgs particle”)

If there is a hypothetical single truth (ie, a hypothetical middle), then there can’t be any consistent classification, because this middle will be ambiguous in all possible classifications.

If, on the other hand, there is a consistent classification, then there can’t be a single truth (ie, a middle), because such classification exclude a hypothetical middle.

Now, fact is that there is not only one but several consistent classifications – using an orthogonal classification like Linnean systematics – meaning that there isn’t any single truth (ie, no middle).

A hypothetical single truth is thus falsified by the fact that there are several consistent classifications. It means that there isn’t any “true tree of life” (as cladists assert) or any “Higgs particle” (as particle physicists “think they have got”). Particle physicists do thus not only have an erroneous hypothesis, but moreover “think” they “have got it”, what on earth this may mean. How do we “get” a hypothesis? Isn’t it like catching one’s own tail?
