Microsoft is learned to be coming up with about two major updates by next year for its Windows 10 operating system. The first update is rumored to be codenamed as Redstone 2 and could hit in March.

According to a Twitter user named WalkingCat, several references have been found to “Windows 10 Version 1703″ in the latest test versions of Windows 10. Year and month details of release have also been referred and the software giant had earlier too used the same codes for its Anniversary Update (1607) which was released in July this year. Similarly, some references were also made in a November update (1511) in 2015.

Microsoft may reveal some details about the next major Windows 10 update at a special Surface PC event scheduled to take place later this month.

It is rumored Microsoft has started testing some new features and most of the changes are minor. One such feature is blue light reduction. Cortana has also been improved to help bridge gap between mobile devices and PCs.

A “HomeHub” feature is also being planned for the Windows 10 that would help managing of smart devices.
