QualiTest Group Acquires Test Direct

London, November 10th – QualiTest Group, the world’s second largest pure play software testing and quality assurance provider, announced today that it had acquired Test-Direct Limited. The acquisition solidifies QualiTest’s position as one of the largest pure play software testing practices in the UK and represents the company’s second acquisition in the UK region in the last three years. Jason McIvor, Senior Vice President of QualiTest UK, will manage the combined UK operation, while Simon Pickersgill, co-founder of Test Direct UK, will become Head of the North and Midlands region.

Established in March 2002, Test Direct is one of the UK’s leading providers of independent IT testing and quality assurance services across the full testing lifecycle for both the private and the public sector. Test Direct has a large customer base that includes major organisations spread across the financial services, retail and technology sectors.
