In the theory of panspermia, scientists believe life on Earth evolved from organics carried by meteorites and comets, etc. The theory is wrong for many reasons.
Reason 1: just like Mars, meteorites and comets contain hydrogen peroxide, which destroyed any thymine (note 1). Thymine is essential in any nucleobases in DNA or RNA.
Reason 2: Organics in meteorites and comets are all dead organics. Dead organics have no vitality, cannot live again or evolve into living material.

Note 1: “It turns out that thymine decomposes in the presence of hydrogen peroxide; the same chemical in bleach and disinfectant. Hydrogen peroxide has been spotted in comets, making it a potential culprit for destroying any thymine that was formed.” Quoted from the last 4th paragraph in https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/guest-blog/did-the-seeds-of-life-come-from-space/
