India seems synonymous to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his political party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The proposal of LK Advani’s name for the next President of India further justifies the statement.

It is reported Modi proposed his name during a party meeting in Gujarat’s Somnath addressing at the Somnath Trust meeting in the presence of BJP national president Amit Shah and Keshubhai Patel.

Modi said the post of India’s second most coveted job would be a ‘guru dakshina’ for Advani.
