Can A Suntan Gel Block Out All These X-Rays?

For many of us common folks we know something is different about the Sun. Those of us who remember watching the Sun set especially on the beach remember we were looking at it through naked eyes and the color was yellow. The changes in the Sun are not only to your senses, sight and touch, but also can be corroborated through actual statistical data that measures the different ranges and amplitudes of energy coming from the Sun.

What caught me off guard about this video was that it discusses joining a toxicity trial for a skin product that is being tested for human tolerances and toxicities. I was successful in contacting people at the “Silver Safe” website and found many interesting things about this gel. The first thing I noticed was that the gel contains no artificial chemicals and therefore asked the owner of the website for a free sample. Again, after passing a screening I was given a sample of this tanning product for the expressed purposes of writing a review on the product.

Since the Sun was beating me down I decided to try the product prior to Sun exposure. I found that the product made me look more tan especially my face. I noticed the eucalyptus had been added to aid in cooling. I felt that the first 30 minutes may have made me perspire a little more but the product did not run and did absorb the moisture probably because of the finely milled activated charcoal.

The product initially went on tacky and kind of stickier that I imagined but within a minute it appeared to feel more like a hand lotion or skin cream. The product smelled like a blend of chocolate, fruit, and a hint of eucalyptus. I would describe it as earthy but with a more chocolatey floral accent. So it was non-offensive. The earthy scent however, seemed to dissipate within a few hours if not sooner; did not seem to conflict with other scents (perfume).

While exposed to direct sunlight I still could feel the warmth coming through the windows and through the tanning gel but I noticed my skin did not feel like it was burning. By the end of the day I noticed my joints did not seem to hurt. I noticed also that although I was tired I wasn’t drained. My skin showed no evidence of sun burn at the end of the day once I showered.

It also should be noted that my shipment came with organic coconut oil to assist in blending or refreshing the product. The Silver Safe gel did want to cling to my hair but after a minute the gel warmed and I could evenly distribute the product through the hair on my arms using non-circular and quick strokes. What caught me off guard about the product is how quick it dried and how it did not leave a petroleum oily residue.

3 days later I needed to use the product again and experienced similar results but was truly surprised on how much my skin seemed to love the product. The only downside I could think of to this product is that it will rub off onto your whites and brights but it did wash out of a white towel I used. To improve the product I think they need more cooling agent(s) and a little darker color. The tan it did leave however, did make me look not so white; it made my face look slightly tan and was not so obvious that people noticed a huge change. Everyone did say that I looked good when they saw me and I thought that was kind of unusual.

I recommend this product to anyone who is exposed to the Sun. Although it is not available on the open market and it seems unusual to pay for a toxicity trial I can understand how a private individual(s) could ask for public cooperation because indeed what you are putting on your skin is not just a tanning gel, is more than a tanning gel, is more than a sunblock and as of yet not obtainable anywhere else on the planet!
