Just curious…have you ckecked with State Laws and Federal Laws? I was part of a Barter group in the early eighties and soon found it was illegal. The Feds want taxes on every thing. We were all fined $2,500 for providing non taxable bartering! Just curious, It’s a great idea but am a little worried!!

      Thanks for all these links.

    • Freedom

well if we all started bartering and we all stoped paying our taxes and fines, then bartering as it all ways has will be around a lot longer than goverment.

@ Freedom My sentiments exactly who works for who in this goofy government

    • It's Me Again

If it belongs to me I can and will do whatever I want to do with it. If I help someone or they help me and we exchange our time for the help, that’s between us and no one else.
This is the way I see it, friends helping each other. I’m sick of the govt.getting involved in private matters. They need to go after those that make millions of dollars selling drugs or those involved in politics and bankers that steal millions of dollars every year instead of someone that makes an extra $20.00
mowing a lawn. Stand up for yourself.

    • It's Me Again

This is a great idea AND thanks for the list, I did’nt know about some of these.
We all need to copy this and email it to others, this is a great idea, if you don’t have one of these close to you, start one. I love things like this, garage sales and flea markets.
