EMP Attack Threats From Iran Discovered Military Manual Found In Tehran

“Iranian military documents describe such a scenario — including a recently translated Iranian military textbook that endorses nuclear EMP attack against the United States,” Dr. Peter Vincent Pry,  a national security and EMP expert, said.

Should Iran also unleash an EMP attack on our European allies, simply ordering more transformers from Germany would not be feasible. If the power grid is down for weeks, civil unrest would break out, and if the lights were to stay off for months, or even years, the death toll would be enormous.

 

Perhaps you’re thinking, “Iran can’t possibly possess a long-range missile with both the power and targeting abilities to hit the U.S. with an EMP!” Maybe, maybe not, but long-range missiles are not required to cause TEOTWAWKI (the end of the world as we know it).

 FEMA estimates claim that about half of all Americans would die in the aftermath of an EMP attack. Military and survival experts, along with my favorite author, Dr. William R. Forstchen, estimate the loss of life to be far closer to 80 percent.

During one of my first conversations with Forstchen, I was shocked to discover that there are nearly 7,000 airplanes flying overhead at any given time. Only Air Force One has been hardened against an EMP attack. If Iran launches such an attack on our nation, all the planes flying in the impact zone would crash to the ground immediately.

The horrific images of the planes burning after they crashed into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania would sadly pale in comparison to the carnage and fires that would occur after an EMP attack.

A significant portion of Americans are far too removed from the farm to table existence that was once commonplace in this country. Long-term storage food should be at the top of the preparedness “to-do” list. Investing in a backup for your currently growing crops and grazing livestock could save your life one day soon.

When the tractor-trailers fail to run to deliver mass quantities of food to the local supermarket, panic will set in even before hungry bellies begin to rumble.

Desperation can, and oftentimes will, lead otherwise good and decent people to do some very evil things. The friendly neighbor you have known for years will either guard his own food, medicine, and ammo supply with every ounce of strength in his body, or will use that same determination to take what you have to prevent his children from going hungry.

Preppers around the world have had numerous conversations debating the pros and cons of going either the lone wolf or the mutual assistance group survival route. Unless you have a huge and well-trained family, hundreds of acres, and a home stuffed full of supplies and bartering items, odds are you will have to deal with community members or the marauding hordes sooner or later. Sooner is the likely bet.

While bolstering your own preps and creating more Faraday cages for useful survival items such as walkies and HAM radios, factor in some time to educate your non-preppers friends, neighbors and relatives.

Anyone who watches the news just one hour a day has to be fighting mounting concerns about the safety and security of our nation, and by extension their own families. There has never been a better time to cautiously network with others to help them prepare and perhaps garner some partners with skills your group is lacking.

 EMP Survival Tips

1. Understand how to purify water using at least two different methods and stockpile the supplies needed to complete the task. Amass more than what you need; water purification supplies will make great barter after an EMP attack or any SHTF scenario.
2. Invest in alternative modes of transportation. If the power grid fails, horses will likely once again become a primary mode of transportation. Knowing how to ride and train horses, and how to make or repair leather tack, will be handy skills and perhaps even offer a post-TEOTWAWKI career. Bicycles and ATVs kept in their own type of Faraday cage could also prove useful. In order to keep the 4-wheelers rolling, convert them so they can be filled with bio-diesel fuel, and learning how to make the fuel. It is surprisingly easy and does not require fancy or expensive equipment. Be prepared to end up with soap the first few tries if you do not get the mixture just right!
3. Get a HAM radio operator’s license and become active in the short-wave community. Knowing if an illness, bad weather, or violent gang is headed to your area is vital information that could prevent needless death to your family members or group.
4. Food: grow it, can it, dehydrate it, raise it and buy copious amounts of the long-term storage variety of it. Do not forget to stockpile heirloom seeds, hand gardening tools, and build a greenhouse or enclose a porch to extend your growing season. Coffee and tobacco plants will make great barter.
5. You will not be able to call 911 to get help from a police officer, medical caregivers, or the fire department. Take courses in the basics of self-defense, purchase and practice with a variety of weapons, learn how to reload ammo and make bolts for your bow, join the local volunteer fire department and score some free training, and garner all of the emergency medical skills and supplies that time and money allow.
