HERE They are saying the solar satellites are to available to the public because the servers at NASA’s Goddard Space Center are down, because of the power outages in Maryland…

From Saturday, June 30, 2012 the Goddard Greenbelt facility will be operating under a Code Red due to a center-wide power outage because of the recent storm. Non-emergency employees are excused from duty unless the day is an employee’s Maxiflex day. When power is restored this message will be updated and also an email with be blasted to all employees.
