Why NASA Failed to Recognize Life on Mars
One of the major reasons is that Mars rover Curiosity failed to find complex carbon compounds with its mass spectrometer (SAM instrument). This failure exposes NASA scientists’ serious mistake in not testing before launch this kind of instruments on Martian meteorites (note 1).
Over 100 Martian meteorites have been found. Over 90 % of Martian meteorites contain complex carbon compounds (note 2). Can you imagine NASA scientists not using the core instrument of Mars rover Curiosity to test for complex carbon compounds in Martian meteorites before launching the rover to Mars?
