Moon Landing Hoax Wires Footage Exposed!! 2014

Scripture states that the earth is stationary.
That being so, the moon must orbit us daily. If it is at an average distance of 1/4 million miles, then it must have a velocity of 60,000 mph.
Therefore, any object wishing to land on it must also travel at this velocity.
The Apollo missions took three days to reach the moon, therefore they were travelling at 3000 mph.
They did not speed up as they approached the moon.
The take-home message therefore is that no landings took place, and none will ever take place.
All of these space missions are simply “bread and circuses” events to entertain the people whilst stripping them of their tax dollars.
So now you know.

HereamI, you are reading into God’s Word. An easy thing to do with any book, personal or corporate actions, situation, etc.

Take for example, (one of many) in God’s Word, Christ’s Words to the thief beside Him on cross,

“Surely I tell you, this day you will be with me in paradise”. Vs. “Surely I tell you this day, you will be with me in paradise.”

A tiny change in punctuation changes the whole meaning. Either Christ was telling the man that he would be with Christ “that day” in paradise, or was telling him on “that day” that the man would be with Christ at some future time, in paradise.

God is far from forbidden from speaking both in specifics and generalizations in His Word. “a day is as a thousand years” does not necessarily mean exactly 1,000 gregorian calendar years to mankind. Just as we today casually relate the phrase, 1 in a million, to mean not exactly 1 in 1,000,000, but instead reference a large number to indicate generally large scope.

When God says that “the earth will not be moved”, is he saying that the earth is absolutely stationary in relation to Himself, everything, most things? If we employ our own feeble understanding to God’s Word, we in our penchant for self assumed relativism, will often confuse specificity with generalization and vice versa.

Consider that God’s word says that the earth will not pass away, and abideth forever. Yet we read at Isaiah 24:20 that the earth will wobble like a drunk man, shaken like a tent in the wind, the guilt of earth’s inhabitants weighs so heave upon it that it “falls, never to rise again.”

What? The absolutely stationary planet can “fall” and not “rise” again? What is really being declared here? The earth, according to God’s Word, which abideth forever, and will not pass away, will also, according to God’s Word, be destroyed by fire!

So again, what is actually being said here? We can go on and on with “APPARENT” contradictions in God’s Word, yet when we study diligently and in CONTEXT we can be gifted with greater understanding.

While I don’t subscribe to the idea that the moon whizzes all the way around a stationary earth daily at 60,000mph, and that we are motionless at the center of the universe, I am cognizant of the possibility that earth, and indeed our universe can be, to God, completely stationary and immovable, all of it contained in His Eternal Mind.

I do subscribe to the fact that the meat of salvation requires not that we agree on such ruminations as those we’ve shared in this topic, and am certainly glad that the whole of the Law and the prophets hangs upon two principles.
