Mercury’s square to Pluto will make sure that what ever idea is illuminating your life is also teasing out any healing that needs to happen. Pluto has a tendency to help us purge the more toxic tales we have been schlepping around. There’s no room for innovation when our minds are clinging to the dinosaur bones of our pasts.

Then listen for any messages from it. Feel any feelings it harbors or flows freely with. Spend time centering yourself and ask to know the beauty of this place in yourself. 

Also a great day to ask for what you need in any domain of your life. Find the courage in your heart and then ask from a place of confidence knowing that it will come to you no matter whom or what the source is. It is on its way.

Good for the twins of the zodiac as Venus always lends her charm and good graces to us when she returns to our sign. Gemini is chatty, information obsessed and inquisitive. Venus in this sign, though endlessly entertaining, can be fickle and might come off as insincere in her affairs.

Watch yourself though. There is a consequence coming. There is a clarification on its way. There is Saturn to deal with. Venus will oppose Saturn on Wednesday, April 15th marking a moment of stand-off, straighten up and fly right-ness. This is an aspect that calls into question our reasons for relating and our level of commitment. Don’t make a mess if you aren’t willing to face the consequence.

Taurus & Taurus Rising

There might be a desire to go faster than your normal pace, or a feeling like you should. There is very good reason for this. For one, Mars and Venus are both in your sign. Venus (there until Saturday, April 11th) brings you a wealth of connectivity and help from others. This is a transit that is activating your natural talents to build bountiful bridges with those that you resonate with and those that care for you. Mars makes you move on ideas and opportunities you have. Slow and steady wins the race with this one but the results are long lasting. 

The other reason it’s a good idea that you get going on a couple of decisions and choose a direction is that Mercury is direct now, but will station retrograde once again in late May. If you know that you need to say “go” on certain aspects of your projects and plans, do so now.   

However, having said all that, astrologically speaking, the month before our birthday is a time that we are quite often required to slow down, go inward and recalibrate before we are reborn. 

The closing of a cycle often gets us thinking.

What have we done with this past year? How far have we come? Did we make strides in the right direction? Do we need to readjust? Did we strengthen our faith even though it was tested? Did we rise to the challenge of being the best version of ourselves that we could be in every situation? When we failed at that did we clean up the mess swiftly, with great compassion for ourselves and others?

Because you have both one foot in the contemplative arena of your chart and one foot in the more action oriented, activity inducing area of your chart, you are well equipped to make even strides forward. Just do so paying attention to both aspects of your life. If you want to reemerge right this year you need to know what your inner life is asking of you.  

Gemini & Gemini Rising

Venus, the planet of connectivity and relating enters your sign this week and your ruling planet, Mercury, enters the heart of the sun in the most social area of your chart. It’s a tremendously active time of togetherness and your calendar is bound to be full to the brim. Given the fact that we just found our way through two very intense eclipses I am going to guess that your social life has been the cause of many a healing encounter. 

People aren’t perfect but they tend to pull out our inner flaws perfectly. 

Not that there is anything wrong with being flawed. Not at all. It’s our souls’ beauty mark. It’s what makes us interesting. It’s what makes us make more of ourselves in the end. But it isn’t always an easy road to go and the one that you have been traveling lately in terms of friends, colleagues and collectives has been a bit dicey. Or delivering. Or both. Swinging from extremes of one side of an experience to the other is kind of your thing though.

Nevertheless, it might be nice to get steady. 

At least with yourself. At least in your ability to not try and hang your hat on what any one person or group thinks or does not think about you. At least in your ability to let the good times roll but not roll right over you, plow you into the ground, or make you want to never come out of your twin cave again. And speaking of getting out, on Thursday ask a group, an organization or a friend for the thing you need from them or the thing(s) that could help you tremendously. If you can’t ask for it outright, it’s always good to ask it in the ethers. Ask in your meditations. Ask by writing a letter you may never send.

Cancer & Cancer Rising

Home is your astrological deal. It’s your signature. It’s your jam, ma’am. Saturday’s eclipse rocked this area of your chart. Saturday’s eclipse shed light on your foundations, faulty and/or intact. Saturday’s eclipse and the choices that you made pertaining to the decisions that it brought up have laid down some long lasting tiles on the floor of your inner life.

I am hoping that at least a part of what happened for you was that you got a glimpse into not just the “work” that you need to do in this region of your life but also the healing that has already occurred here.

Yes, Leo, I want to hear you roar,YES. You are in the last throws of your Jupiter year (ending in August) and after a long stint of the Big Benefic being retrograde, this week Jupiter starts its move forward. 

And so should you.

It’s not that there isn’t a lot going in in your life that could very well be enticing you to see things differently, things you always thought you valued, things you always thought would stay true to form. 

It’s not that there isn’t energy, erotic, creative, connective energy encouraging you to make steady improvements in the area of your life that connects you to your reasons for living. And it’s not that you aren’t about to get a definite though somewhat subtle career boost or an increase in appreciation for what you do.

Libra & Libra Rising

In hopes that you took some of my advice last week and had a power nap and some ceiling therapy, I’m here to tell you that it’s time to get back to work.
