My Heavenly Experience

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

When I was assisting to run a children’s home in Kenya, I used to be constantly very concerned about death, and wanted to know how it would be to die. In my mind I even asked my Guru to demonstrate it somehow to me. (Photo from video; https://i.ytimg.com/vi/9LQMUHXtWSk/mqdefault.jpg)

Our scriptures say that while we die, the last thing that we think matters. When we practise meditation, it suppose to make us to remember Cosmic Consciousness at the time of death, and thus ensure out merger into our Cosmic Creator. I used to do four times a day meditation, but still I worried how could I remember Cosmic Consciousness as my last thought if I would die. I thought instead I might panic with pain or something.

I suppose, because of my strong desire to know, I was given a chance to experience all of it – but for that, I had to go to hospital due to very stupid reason. I got some female problem and doctor recommended to take antibiotics. I refused, but when the homeopathic medicines also didn’t help, it made my doctor to decide that I had to go for operation. As we were missionary workers, our yogis used to have free doctors, dentists and homeopaths, so he probably thought I was not able to pay, and without asking me anything he arranged me into some poor hospital in Nairobi.

When I was already lying down on the operation table, the female doctor came in. I got totally scared as she looked so awkward, and also her behavior was more than impolite. Obviously I couldn’t escape anymore. In my mind I was thinking that I might die into their hands, as also the male nurse giving anesthesia didn’t look even any nurse. I blacked out, remembering just to fear my possible death – and not any Cosmic Consciousness.

But immediately when I passed off, I was faced with light that drew me automatically towards it. At that moment I didn’t care anymore about anything else. It became such a peaceful, beautiful and joyful submersion into divinity, that I never could imagine – although I had experienced some glimpses of it during meditation. I was one with my Guru, one with the Cosmic Consciousness, one with the Divine.

After the operation, I woke up already before I was even taken into my room. I just remember myself whispering to my fellow missionaries, who had come to see me; ‘I was there where our Guru is. I want to go back, I want to go back. ‘

Soon when we were already leaving the hospital, I met the anesthesia nurse and told him my experience. He said; ‘I know all the patients here are seeing strange dreams’. I said; ‘it was not any dream’, but he didn’t seem to believe me. Then it came to my mind to ask; ‘how is it then that everyone sees here strange “dreams”?’ He laughed and said that he gives only half anesthesia to everyone, because most of the patients are abortion cases, and those women want to go quickly back to their home or work, so that nobody will question.

I would probably had been quite shocked about all these strange things going on there, if not the heavenly experience had kept me calm. It made me convinced that everyone who meditates and has got experiences of Cosmic Consciousness – God or what so ever name we use – gets automatically drawn towards the Divine Creator at the end of life. Even yogies, when experiencing samadhi, certainly have similar experiences.

After reaching home I called my usual doctor, he just told me in a hurry; ‘you have to take now antibiotics, no excuse’. First I was really angry, why he didn’t say it before operation, but then I realized that probably it all happened, because of my strong desire to experience “death”. And in order to get me out of curiosity and worry my Guru had to do quite a job to arrange it for me. What we ask we might get, but we may have to pay the “costs” ourselves. Anyhow after all, I’m just grateful of this experience.

Since then I lost all my concerns about death. I had some a bit strange experiences while I was a child, and also different kind of experiments at young age, also with mediums. I might tell them some other time.

When we read others near death experiences – stories about how they met in the other side their relatives, Jesus, God, light, or even some kind of hell – it all seem to happen according their expectations. So it matters what we think in our daily lives, although I don’t believe anybody will stay forever in the hell that they created themselves. DA

Here collection of excerpts from our Guru’s discourses related to death; Death is nothing but a change. From childhood to boyhood, from boyhood to adolescence, and when one is old and dies, then one is born as a baby – it is also a change. But where the link between the preceding stage and the succeeding stage is missing, we say it is physical death.

A dead person’s body has a brain, but it does not function, because there is no mind in it. Similarly when a person becomes unconscious or is made so with the help of anaesthesia, his or her brain becomes non-functional for some time. The state of unconsciousness and that of death are similar except that the former is momentary.

Now, what is death? After death the mind and atman (unit consciousness) become dissociated from the decaying body. Hence a human being’s individuality and his or her feeling of “I” will not die. So on the Day of Judgement, who will rise from the grave? The body cannot rise since it has already turned into soil. Here is another point – human beings do not have to wait for the Day of Judgement, their judgement is tied to their actions.

Wherever there is an action there is an equal and opposite reaction. One has been performing some action or other right up to the moment of death and will have to experience the reactions of those actions. In order to experience these reactions and because of its inability to experience these reactions without the brain – the mind has to take shelter in a new body in a subsequent birth.

Hence the concept of hell or heaven where human beings are supposed to proceed after death is entirely incorrect. It is in this mortal world only that one has to be reborn to experience the pleasures of heaven and the sufferings of hell; good results from good deeds and bad results from bad ones.

After death Cosmic Consciousness selects the proper field (body), to suit the potential reactions. Such a body may be available in a day, or it may even take millions of years to discover it, for the mind cannot take shelter in a body, if the requirements of potential reactions are not obtained.

Death is necessary. Assuming that unit consciousness could continue in one body till it gets merged in Cosmic Consciousness, we are faced with the possibility of one body continuing for millions of years, as the chain of actions and reactions may not free the unit consciousness earlier than that. This would result in a total stoppage of the evolution of factors in a body for millions of years.

All beings want to preserve their existence to attain happiness. People do not want to die, for they know happiness cannot be achieved after death. This is the main cause behind the dread of death. But those who do not find pleasure or happiness at all in life, become weary of their lives and commit suicide, thinking their lives to be a burden. It is because they no longer regard life as a means of attaining happiness, that they destroy it.

If one thinks of money all the time, one will become crudified and find oneself as a safe in some bank or in the home of some wealthy individual in the next life. Human movement towards ‘animality’ is not life, it is death.

Association by proper adjustment and parallelism between the psychic and physical bodies causes life, and dissociation under adverse conditions results in death – the body and the mind will dissociate. There are two causes of death: physical and psychic. Physical death occurs when the waves of the physical structure become crudified due to old age or physical deficiency. Psychic death occurs due to psychic clash with either subtler or cruder thought-waves. In this case also, loss of parallelism will occur, and the physical and psychic bodies shall dissociate.

The gap between birth and death is life. It is a small gap. Waste no time. Every minute takes you nearer to the grave. This mission of life – to become one with Cosmic Consciousness, God – has to be fulfilled here and now. Death will not be painful for you, because in death too you attain Him. Merge with Him with all your love. By knowing Him alone one overcomes death.

Now the element of physicality is predominant, but in future the psychic element will become predominant. And that day when the entire living world – dashing through a transitory phase of psychic – will become spiritual will not be in the distant future. ………………………………

Erik’s story is amazing. He is now “dead”, but after his suicide he, as a soul, is in contact with his mother in USA through several mediums. They are not only telling messages from Erik, but also from other “dead” people that Erik is bringing to be interviewed. About near death experiences Erik says; 99.9% of people who come back to earthly life have changed perspectives, always positive. But “death” means, that no matter how many times you try to get your soul back into your deceased body, it’s not going to connect. But anyhow there is not really death, as the soul continues its life not only in the other side, but into other earthly lives as well according Erik; http://www.channelingerik.com/near-death-experiences/.

      WHERE ARE THE DEAD?
Gen. 3:19: “In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will return.”
Eccl. 9:10: “All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol [“the grave,” KJ, Kx; “the world of the dead,” TEV], the place to which you are going.”

WHAT IS THE CONDITION OF THE DEAD?
Eccl. 9:5: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.”
Ps. 146:4: “His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts [“thoughts,” KJ, 145:4 in Dy; “all his thinking,” NE; “plans,” RS, NAB] do perish.”
John 11:11-14: “‘Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.’ . . . Jesus said to them outspokenly: ‘Lazarus has died.’” (Also Psalm 13:3)
Is there some part of man that lives on when the body dies?
Ezek. 18:4: “The soul [“soul,” RS, NE, KJ, Dy, Kx; “man,” JB; “person,” TEV] that is sinning—it itself will die.”
Isa. 53:12: “He poured out his soul [“soul,” RS, KJ, Dy; “life,” TEV; “himself,” JB, Kx, NAB] to the very death.” (Compare Matthew 26:38.)
See also the main headings “Soul” and “Spirit.”
Are the dead in any way able to help or to harm the living?
Eccl. 9:6: “Their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.”
Isa. 26:14: “They are dead; they will not live. Impotent in death, they will not rise up.”

WHAT ABOUT REPORTS MADE BY PERSONS WHO WERE REVIVED AFTER BEING REPORTED TO BE DEAD AND WHO SPOKE OF ANOTHER LIFE?
Normally, after a person stops breathing and the heartbeat ceases, it is several minutes before gradual cessation of the life-force in the body cells begins. If the body is subjected to severe cold, that process can be delayed for hours. For this reason, it is sometimes possible to revive persons by means of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. They were what is termed “clinically dead,” but their body cells were still alive.
Many persons revived from “clinical death” remember nothing. Others report experiencing a floating sensation. Some say they saw beautiful things; others were terrified by their experience.
Is there a medical explanation for any of these experiences?
The medical editor of The Arizona Republic wrote: “When physical prowess is at its lowest ebb, as under anesthesia, or the result of disease or injury, automatic control of bodily functions diminishes accordingly. Thus, the neurohormones and catecholamines of the nervous system are released and pour out in uncontrolled quantity. The result, among other manifestations, is the hallucination, rationalized after returning to consciousness, of having died and returned to life.”—May 28, 1977, p. C-1; also the German medical journal Fortschritte der Medizin, No. 41, 1979; Psychology Today, January 1981.
But is not the testimony of those who were revived confirmed by persons to whom deceased loved ones have appeared and spoken?
Read again, please, the scriptures quoted earlier regarding the condition of the dead. What is God’s Word of truth telling us about the condition of the dead?
Who wants humans to believe otherwise? After Jehovah warned our first parents that disobedience would bring death, who contradicted that? “The serpent [used by Satan; see Revelation 12:9] said to the woman: ‘You positively will not die.’” (Gen. 3:4) Later, of course, Adam and Eve did die. Reasonably, then, who invented the idea that a spirit part of man survives the death of the body? As we have already seen, this is not what God’s Word says. God’s law to ancient Israel condemned as “unclean” and “detestable” the practice of consulting the dead. (Lev. 19:31; Deut. 18:10-12; Isa. 8:19) Would a God of love condemn this practice if the living were simply communicating with loved ones who had departed? On the other hand, if demonic spirits were impersonating the dead and misleading mankind by conveying to their minds impressions that would perpetuate a lie, would it not be loving on God’s part to safeguard his servants against such deception?—Eph. 6:11, 12.

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY THAT HELPS US TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THE SOUL IS?
Gen. 2:7: “Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul.” (Notice that this does not say that man was given a soul but that he became a soul, a living person.) (The part of the Hebrew word here rendered “soul” is neʹphesh. KJ, AS, and Dy agree with that rendering. RS, JB, NAB read “being.” NE says “creature.” Kx reads “person.”)
1 Cor. 15:45: “It is even so written: ‘The first man Adam became a living soul.’ The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.” (So the Christian Greek Scriptures agree with the Hebrew Scriptures as to what the soul is.) (The Greek word here translated “soul” is the accusative case of psy·kheʹ. KJ, AS, Dy, JB, NAB, and Kx also read “soul.” RS, NE, and TEV say “being.”)
1 Pet. 3:20: “In Noah’s days . . . a few people, that is, eight souls, were carried safely through the water.” (The Greek word here translated “souls” is psy·khaiʹ, the plural form of psy·kheʹ. KJ, AS, Dy, and Kx also read “souls.” JB and TEV say “people”; RS, NE, and NAB use “persons.”)
Gen. 9:5: “Besides that, your blood of your souls [or, “lives”; Hebrew, from neʹphesh] shall I ask back.” (Here the soul is said to have blood.)
Josh. 11:11: “They went striking every soul [Hebrew, neʹphesh] that was in it with the edge of the sword.” (The soul is here shown to be something that can be touched by the sword, so these souls could not have been spirits.)

      CAN THE HUMAN SOUL DIE?
Ezek. 18:4: “Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul* that is sinning—it itself will die.” (*Hebrew reads “the neʹphesh.” KJ, AS, RS, NE, and Dy render it “the soul.” Some translations say “the man” or “the person.”)
Matt. 10:28: “Do not become fearful of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul [or, “life”]; but rather be in fear of him that can destroy both soul* and body in Gehenna.” (*Greek has the accusative case of psy·kheʹ. KJ, AS, RS, NE, TEV, Dy, JB, and NAB all render it “soul.”)
Acts 3:23: “Indeed, any soul [Greek, psy·kheʹ] that does not listen to that Prophet will be completely destroyed from among the people.”
IS THE HUMAN SOUL THE SAME AS THE SPIRIT?
Eccl. 12:7: “Then the dust returns to the earth just as it happened to be and the spirit [or, life-force; Hebrew, ruʹach] itself returns to the true God who gave it.” (Notice that the Hebrew word for spirit is ruʹach; but the word translated soul is neʹphesh. The text does not mean that at death the spirit travels all the way to the personal presence of God; rather, any prospect for the person to live again rests with God. In similar usage, we may say that, if required payments are not made by the buyer of a piece of property, the property “returns” to its owner.) (KJ, AS, RS, NE, and Dy all here render ruʹach as “spirit.” NAB reads “life breath.”)
Eccl. 3:19: “There is an eventuality as respects the sons of mankind and an eventuality as respects the beast, and they have the same eventuality. As the one dies, so the other dies; and they all have but one spirit [Hebrew, ruʹach].” (Thus both mankind and beasts are shown to have the same ruʹach, or spirit. For comments on verses 20, 21, see page 383.)
Heb. 4:12: “The word of God is alive and exerts power and is sharper than any two-edged sword and pierces even to the dividing of soul [Greek, psy·khesʹ; “life,” NE] and spirit [Greek, pneuʹma·tos], and of joints and their marrow, and is able to discern thoughts and intentions of the heart.” (Observe that the Greek word for “spirit” is not the same as the word for “soul.”)

DOES CONSCIOUS LIFE CONTINUE FOR A PERSON AFTER THE SPIRIT LEAVES THE BODY?
Ps. 146:4: “His spirit [Hebrew, from ruʹach] goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts do perish.” (NAB, Ro, Yg, and Dy [145:4] here render ruʹach as “spirit.” Some translations say “breath.”) (Also Psalm 104:29)

WHAT IS THE ORIGIN OF CHRISTENDOM’S BELIEF IN AN IMMATERIAL, IMMORTAL SOUL?
“The Christian concept of a spiritual soul created by God and infused into the body at conception to make man a living whole is the fruit of a long development in Christian philosophy. Only with Origen [died c. 254 C.E.] in the East and St. Augustine [died 430 C.E.] in the West was the soul established as a spiritual substance and a philosophical concept formed of its nature. . . . His [Augustine’s] doctrine . . . owed much (including some shortcomings) to Neoplatonism.”—New Catholic Encyclopedia (1967), Vol. XIII, pp. 452, 454.
“The concept of immortality is a product of Greek thinking, whereas the hope of a resurrection belongs to Jewish thought. . . . Following Alexander’s conquests Judaism gradually absorbed Greek concepts.”—Dictionnaire Encyclopédique de la Bible (Valence, France; 1935), edited by Alexandre Westphal, Vol. 2, p. 557.
“Immortality of the soul is a Greek notion formed in ancient mystery cults and elaborated by the philosopher Plato.”—Presbyterian Life, May 1, 1970, p. 35.
“Do we believe that there is such a thing as death? . . . Is it not the separation of soul and body? And to be dead is the completion of this; when the soul exists in herself, and is released from the body and the body is released from the soul, what is this but death? . . . And does the soul admit of death? No. Then the soul is immortal? Yes.”—Plato’s “Phaedo,” Secs. 64, 105, as published in Great Books of the Western World (1952), edited by R. M. Hutchins, Vol. 7, pp. 223, 245, 246.
“The problem of immortality, we have seen, engaged the serious attention of the Babylonian theologians. . . . Neither the people nor the leaders of religious thought ever faced the possibility of the total annihilation of what once was called into existence. Death was a passage to another kind of life.”—The Religion of Babylonia and Assyria (Boston, 1898), M. Jastrow, Jr., p. 556.

So, according to God’s word, the Bible, we do NOT have an immortal soul, and when we die, NOTHING REMAINS. We go nowhere except back to the dust of the ground. We DON’T GO TO HEAVEN, and we DON’T GO TO HELL that is taught by Christendom, since hell as they teach it DOES NOT EXIST. Hell means the “common grave of mankind”. It’s NOT some place of fire and torture that pagans have always maintained, it’s THE GRAVE.

      • Didianna

OK, thanks for your effort to try to explain, but I can’t say anything about your Bible verses, except that I think there are lots of things written in Bible by totally unknown people from their own heads for different purposes during many centsuries, sorry to say, but that’s my understanding.

What comes to this your guotation; The medical editor of The Arizona Republic wrote: “When physical prowess is at its lowest ebb, as under anesthesia… Thus, the neurohormones and catecholamines of the nervous system are released and pour out in uncontrolled quantity. The result, among other manifestations, is the hallucination, rationalized after returning to consciousness, of having died and returned to life.”

For me it doesn’t sound rational explanation, except may be in some cases. Why people would see films showing up their life history? How they could see the operating doctor and hear what he is talking even in other room in some cases, when they are diagnosed death? After near death experience often the whole life philosophy and way of life of that person changes totally, how could that happen?

I think it is time for everyone to try to see the existence of spiritual world, human beings are becoming more spiritual, the vail is thinning and spiritual experiences will increase tremendously in the future, I believe and I hope that nobody will lack behind.

        • Mike

          Didiana;
Nothing was written by totally unknown people at all. Each and every word in the inspired word of God, was INSPIRED by God, using His holy spirit, telling what God wanted to say. The 40 writers wrote what the AUTHOR, God, inspired them to say. They did NOT come up with these things on their own. Most of them NEVER met any of the others, and didn’t even live at the same time. Therefore, no other way exists for each and every verse in the scriptures to be in complete harmony, and tell a continued account. It’s not possible. They had NO worldwide communication then, no computers, telephones, email, text messages, or anything of the sort. They COULD NOT have written God’s word as you have maintained in the first paragraph of your post.

There exists no spiritual world in which we participate. God, His son, and angels exist as spirits in heaven, we do not. We never will either. We have NO PART OF US that survives our death.

          • Didianna

OK, I appreciate your opinion and religous belief, but when you say; The 40 writers wrote what the AUTHOR, God, inspired them to say.

I feel like if God just inspired them to write, for me it sounds like channeling and how much we can rely on it? Mostly it might be even correct, but usually not all. Besides anyone could claim that God inspired me to write. I think God inspires all of us to do things, but we tend to have our own intepretation how we manifest the things. If you would have said God forced them to write….but still I doubt as God gives us free will. Otherwise we would be only puppets.

And when the scriptures from different authors fit so nicely together is it not more likely that the one person or group, collected them and edited all the texts according their likings or belief system and put into one book, may be originally the ideas on them even didn’t fit together.

Besided later on may be some other group edited the texts according their likings. Anyhow I don’t want to argue about that. I’m not historian, it is just my belief gathered what I have heard from many sources, including also what our Guru has told about Jesus the Christ etc.

Thank you for your concerns, I can feel that you have good intention to try to make me to have faith on Biblical matters, but sorry I have my own beliefs. Anyhow it is nice to meet people that I can still call brother or sister, as surely we have the same creator at least.

            • MikeSavage

              Didianna;
I have no religious beliefs. Belief in God and His inspired word is not religious beliefs. Religion is all false, according to God. I adhere to no religion. Their beliefs, are NOT the beliefs found in the Bible. They’re NOT Christian, they only falsely claim to be. The ONLY truth you’re EVER going to find on Earth, is in God’s word, or rather, from an ACCURATE translation of God’s word, which is almost IMPOSSIBLE to find. I checked, against the original scrolls, 38 English translations of the Bible, and NONE OF THEM were accurate with regards to what God actually said.

Channelling doesn’t exist. That’s just made up new age weirdness that is not true. We have no immortal soul, when we die nothing remains. God’s word is accurate. A guru is part of false religion. I have no concerns either, but you’re welcome anyway, for what it’s worth. Only ONE method of worshiping God exists, and that is what Jesus, God’s SON taught, in the first century. It was no church, had no clergy, no rediculous pagan rituals or beliefs. It only had belief in God, Jesus, and God’s word. Period. Nothing added by man. So NO RELIGION is approved of by God. Not one.

      • Didianna

Forgot to put; Except I don’t believe all the Cristian explanations, especially at the end.

    • Didianna

OK I just mention to Mike, sorry of my mistake while making conclusion you have religious belief, it sounds like that.

I have studied Bible when I was young, but found it contradictory and unreliable as you also say even the original words of the “God” can’t be found, so why I should care about it?

As you mention; “ACCURATE translation of God’s word, which is almost IMPOSSIBLE to find. I checked, against the original scrolls, 38 English translations of the Bible, and NONE OF THEM were accurate with regards to what God actually said.”

I just wander how do YOU know what is then original? Anyhow I don’t want anymore to discuss about Bible matters, but you are welcome to write if you like.

      • MikeSavage

        Didianna;
When comparing EACH SCRIPTURE to EACH OTHER SCRIPTURE in the entire scriptures, it is EASY, relatively speaking, to see which understanding of them is correct. If ANY scripture SEEMS to contradict ANY OTHER scripture, then an adjustment in your understanding needs to be made, until all are in complete and total harmony. That’s how. So it took 45 years to do, it was WELL WORTH IT.

        • Didianna

Sorry I cancelled what I said before not wanting to discuss anymore, but this was, sorry to say, too funny for me. So by comparing the scriptures you have made your own “religion”, sounds like. Congratulations. I could do the same but might come into completely different outcome. Anyhow I wouldn’t spend 45 yers to do that.

This just shows that we all have need to make our own belief systems, based on what we think and find out to be true. So let me have mine, and I let you have yours. Is that OK?

            Didianna;
NO, I created no “religion”. I have understood God’s word, as He intended us to do. There exists no “different” outcome either. His word means what it says, but few know WHAT it says. They “interpret” a scripture, rather than checking it’s meaning, and stick to that. Not very logical, or wise. And no we do NOT have to make your own belief system, IF it’s your goal to do God’s will. He laid it out for us, and that is what we should follow. Nowhere did God say in His inspired words, that we must make up some belief system. It says to do His will. That is what I do, and you fault me for that. That is the height of hypocrisy.
