Does the Apostle Paul teach a trinity and the abolishment of the Law?

Does the Apostle Paul teach a trinity and the abolishment of the Law?

First Timothy 1

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, [which is] our hope;

2 Unto Timothy, [my] own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, [and] peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

If there were a trinity, 3 in 1, why does Paul totally ignore the third person i.e. the “Holy Spirit” which many refer to as the “Ghost”?

Why does kindness/grace, peace and mercy come from our Father and His Son only, why is the Spirit excluded?

If the Holy Spirit, which has no name and never speaks in the first person, were a third member of the God Head why wouldn’t Paul include it?

All through the letters of Paul the above is the norm, Paul never includes the Spirit as a part of the God Head i.e. The Father’s Family.

Here is a typical greeting Paul used in his letters:

2 Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and [from] the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

Paul is admonishing some for teaching false doctrine and Paul is including the topic of the Law which is the Torah.

4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: [so do].

5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and [of] a good conscience, and [of] faith unfeigned:

Think about this statement by the Apostle Paul, Paul states the purpose of the commandment is Love: the aim, the purpose, the end result of The Commandments, the Law, the Torah is Love.

                      Go to Strong’s and look up the definitions of the word “end”.

Paul is NOT stating the Law has ended if that were true the why does he say the following?

6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

First, if the Law were abolished why were they teaching it?

Those desiring to be teachers of the Law were teaching false doctrine and why — because they as the majority today do not understand the purpose, the reason God gave us the LAW.

8 But we know that the law [is] good, if a man use it lawfully;

If the Law was nailed to the stake with Christ then why is Paul stating the Law is GOOD — if it is used lawfully? How does one use an abolished law lawfully?

Jesus Christ admonished the Pharisees because the scribes and the Pharisees used the law to do evil.

9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

The Law was made to hold the “lawless” accountable: the righteous who obey the law will not come “under” the condemnation of the Law and that condemnation is the sentence of death.

10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

Paul in verses 9 and 10 list some on the 10 Commandments: murderers, liars, thieves, adulterer so why would Paul list as SIN commandments that had been abolished at the stake?

11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

The Gospel Paul taught included the Commandments.

12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did [it] ignorantly in unbelief.

Paul states he was a sinner and sin is the transgression of the LAW and Thus Paul is stating he was a sinner “after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ” — so explain how that is possible if the Law was nailed to the stake with Christ?

14 And the grace/kindness of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

15 This [is] a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

If Christ came to save sinners and Paul was the chief of the sinners and if the Law was nailed to the stake with Christ then there are no more sinners that can be saved as sin would be now impossible — with out a law codifying what sin is —– there can be no such thing as sin.

If this can not be understood then you are one of the deceived,

16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

Christ is patience towards sinner and Paul was chief sinner — how is that possible if the law is now moot?

17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, [be] honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;

19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:

20 Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.

Show the errors in this logic but do not waste time by telling the writer to repent from obeying Jesus Christ.

      LOGIClessseeker…16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16

      I’ll walk you through it Slowwwwwwleeey… Paul said

      16 :arrow: ” And without controversy” …inotherwords, it’s without A DOUBT to those WHO *HAVE GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THEM :idea:

      “great is the mystery of godliness:” ……….I’ve mentioned before about MYSTERIES and How you will NEVER UNDERSTAND THEM because YOU REFUSE the NEW COVENANT &, GOD the HOLY SPIRIT , you grieve Him by saying He does NOT exist…sealing your UNWORTHINESS in this World and the One to come ……REPENT OF UNBELIEF… :idea: while you can !!

      :arrow: “God was manifest in the flesh,”…….. FATHER “when you see me” ,SON, “HOLY SPIRIT DESCENDED ON HIM BODILY FORM”

      :arrow: justified in the Spirit…….ALL those WHO HAVE what you say does NOT EXIST will JUSTIFIABLY say HE DOES EXIST thous if your looking for concrete proof ….you’ll have to take a step of :arrow: FAITH to understand WHAT is meant, to be “JUSTIFIED IN THE SPIRIT.” :idea:

      So PAUL did cover the trinity for those who are IN FAITH , and that’s NOT YOU atm, as you have the Veil over your eyes with the LAW.

      Ephesians 2:8……For by grace are ye saved *through FAITH; and that :arrow: not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

      Colossians 2:9-23…”For IN Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;”

      :arrow: As I KNOW NAYSAYERS SO WELL.The only thing that will satisfy you is the word “trinity” and it’s not there of course, but the Word Bible is NOT EITHER, but you believe in it, never the less . :!:

      As for you stumbling over the LAW well you know the drill ….. :roll:

      :arrow: “Without the shedding of Blood there is *NO FORGIVENESS FOR SIN*” :idea: the LAW is NOT BLOOD :idea:

      Adieu

        God the Holy Spirit …Sealed by the “Holy Spirit of God “Ephesians 1:13

        So God the Holy Spirit makes Known to US, that we are JUSTIFIED :arrow: in the sight of God,

      crazy, Can you address these specific questions directly with out wandering all over the place?

      can you make a case using scripture showing why my questions are invalid?

      why then does Paul never include the Spirit in a greeting or a blessing?

      Why does He only use the name of the Father and Jesus Christ and no spirit, could it be because the
      Father IS a Spirit and this is a small measure of His Spirit He places in us and it is not an entity?

      Why does God’s Spirit have no name?

      Why doesn’t it speak in the first person?

      why does John state one is an antichrist if they deny the Father and the Son, does that mean its OK to deny the Spirit?

      And why does Paul teach the Law is Good as is revealed in this letter ? How can it be good if it has been voided?

      ” but the Word Bible is NOT EITHER, but you believe in it, never the less” — crazy bible means book

      I believe the Torah, I believe the Prophets I believe the Old and the New Testament writings.

      crazy can you specifically address this scripture and the logical comment that follows without your usual rant? show how there sin can still exist if the Law was nailed to the stake

      WHO *HAVE GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THEM — where does it state that the Holy Spirit “is” God?

      “justified “”in”" the Spirit,” — shown to be righteous By the Spirit as the Spirit of the Father can only dwell in a righteous vessel.

      jknbt and crazy

      How is it neither of you understand what work our Father is doing in those HE Calls ?

      He is not worried that you could experience some physical pain — pain cause change.

      Just as He allowed testings and trials for all the patriarchs and men such as Joseph and David and then Jesus Christ Himself so our Father is by trials and testings preparing those HE CALLS for positions of authority in His Government.

      David will be King over all 12 tribes in the Kingdom and the 12 Apostles will be each a king over one of the 12 tribes.

      He took Joseph as a young man and put him through very difficult trials so Joseph could become second in command of the known world. Will Joseph be given that position in the kingdom over the entire world under Jesus Christ?

      Do you think our Father quit His Work when this so called modern christian era began?

      No! He is yet preparing His Holy Ones for positions of great authority as kings and Lords and Priests when Jesus Christ returns to rule this earth with the ROD of IRON.
