Nick Swisher will be back with the Yankees in a much different role. He’s a Yankee instructor in Tampa this week.
This is a really, really tiny story in our universe, but anything Swisher seems to get reads and so, I fell for it. Here’s the nugget brought to you by the New York Post:
“Nick Swisher didn’t make it back to the majors with the Yankees this season, but that isn’t stopping him from spending the week with their instructional league team as a guest instructor in Tampa…He is expected to be in Tampa for the rest of the week. Alex Rodriguez has also served as a guest instructor since leaving the Yankees as a player.”
That’s it… seriously.
Do you feel any different after reading that? Me neither.
Arod will instruct them on how to use the needles without getting caught and Swisher will teach them how to stink at the plate, no matter of how many roids they take.
